Havent wrote a review in awhile. There was a medication out of stock everywhere and Kroger had my Rx in stock. They even called CVS to get it transferred for me. From the phone to in store they saved my life and wallet. I tried to pick up my $1k+ Rx in store but the Pharmacist notified me that my insurance paid for it and it was being delivered mail order. She saved me from paying $1k and I was able to call my insurance to get my meds situated and delivered in time due to complications with delivering. If I hadn't notified I wouldn't have had my meds in time. Thank you KROger! read more

Had 2 special experiences in this store. Firstly, this is partially on me, but also on the staff here. I purchased 3 Kroger chocolate milks from here. Since I viewed Kroger as high quality, I rarely ever checked the expiration date. Both of these bottles were over a month past them. I drank one and a half of these bottles. Almost had to go to the ER.. Anyways.. the second bad experience here was when I did pickup. The guy who was putting groceries into the car next to me forgot to lock his cart. I've always loved the digital coupons and deals they have, and their clearanced meat section is most times a win. 4x fuel points on Friday make the savings even more! I've just started doing their grocery pick up, and I love how fast the staff is at getting the groceries out. Also love where the pick up section is at the little elm location- it is far away from the front of the store so you don't hit much traffic if you come in from the other side. This is the worst grocery store ever. I ordered pick up between 5:00 and 6:00. Got to the store at 5:10 and entered my parking spot on the app. I sat and waited until 6:05. Many cars arrived after me, received their orders and left. I went inside to find someone to talk to. Found a manager and he was very dismissive and rude. There was no way for me to cancel my order on the app after waiting so long. I called customer service, but no humans to actually talk to. So now I'm going to have to badger them until I get my money back. If I can ever get in touch with an actual person. Thanks for nothing, Kroger. read more

To start with this Store is supposed to be open till 1 AM I went in at 12:51 and automated doors were already turned off a guy in front of me slid them open and walked in anyway so I walked in behind him and the security guard yelled at us and made us leave even though the store shouldn't have closed for another nine minutes. She said they shut the door at 10 minutes till every day to allow the employees time to get ready to go home. Wow I wouldn't have a problem with that but they need to change their sign on the door to read 6AM to 12:50AM not 1 AM that's a lie!!! according to the security guard name Ace they close their doors every day at 12:50!! Terrible with getting things correct. ALWAYS check your to go order because this isn't the first time they have messed up and cost me $$ only to never make it right on their end. Picked up an online order. In that order, I had 3 chicken breasts which cost $6. They decided to substitute that chicken with $13 chicken (for 3 breasts), THEN they double charged me for it on the bill! (I still only received 3 chicken breasts). Ended up costing me $26 for 3 chicken breasts! Contacted them twice on the Kroger site for a refund, no one has reached out. Shady business practices, poor training, just use another store if you're going to do online pickup. They have yet to ever get it correct. read more

Worse service today by a cashier did not take my Kroger store coupons. Dismissed me told me to go get them done by customer service with no apology for her error. Little Elm store needs to make her take customer service classes. I will be going to HEB from now on. Three-star rating is based largely on the fact "coupons" are required to be digitally attached to the shopper account prior to check out. It would seemingly make more sense if all offers were attached to shoppers Kroger Plus accounts each week automatically, resulting in redemption when items are purchased according to ad stipulations. I do want to recognize store staff for always maintaining a clean environment, which unfortunately can't be said about many grocery stores. The kiddos enjoy the sushi selections with the wife often partaking in deli offerings as they are of much higher quality than WalMart. read more

I have mainly shopped this location in the past, but the store is never stocked anymore. The Clicklist employees have become very unfriendly, and they don't know how to properly substitute missing items. They give you something totally different than you ordered. Then, you have to go return it at the service desk. The only positive, is the red headed lady at the service desk. I wish I knew her name. She has been there forever and deserves recognition for her friendly attitude! If you go inside, you have to pretty much use the self checkout, as they have usually one register open. I love to shop at Kroger, but today I got the worst customer experience during my shopping. I need a birthday balloon for an elderly but this rude employee, a woman with large hair, didn't give me one. Instead she offered me a defective balloon. I asked a nicer lady (the manager) from the customer service desk to help me and thanks to her I got the balloon. After the she left, the employee talking bad at me. However, this wasn't my first experience with her, it was my second encounter. In fact, as I was leaving, I heard her talking bad about me, mimicking me rudely as well. What a beautiful sight to see! So many beautifully stocked meats and produce. Meat has been scarce lately so walking in to see such nicely stocked items is really a treat these days. They were still out of your typical cleaning items i know most of us have been looking for. No disinfectant spray and/or wipes, hand sanitizer, etc. There was a worker down nearly every isle trying to keep things stocked on shelves. They were out of wipes to clean the carts with so they just had a spray bottle and paper towels for people to use. Also noticed the social distancing squares laid out across the floor. read more

This Kroger has probably the absolute worst customer service I have experienced at a store I stood there waiting for a cupcake for 30 min then when to speak with the customer service to see if they can help get someone over there and i probably would have had better luck just waiting because after i waited 5 min for the 2 people behind the desk to finish there conversation they looked at the dumb when I asked for help then said they would send someone to help and never did so that was great but after waiting 20 more min for someone to come (witch they never did) a lovely lady who noticed I was standing there for 40 min who worked in the hot foods section came and was able to get me the cupcake and figured out how to package it because she couldn't find any containers. So to that lady thank you so much to the 2 people at customer service please transfer to a different department cause that one is not for you!!! read more

When I first moved to Little Elm this Kroger was the best. In the last few years the store has gone downhill. Some of my biggest complaints. 1) Pricing errors in their favor nearly every time I check out 2) Items no longer available that were staples of my shopping 3) Customers bring animals into the store (not service animals) 4) Carts, Pallets, and boxes left in the aisles, the store is an obstacle course 5) Rude staff. Good overall. My first comment is that I feel safe here which for me is the most important concern. My spouse and I shop here several times weekly for 10+ years and I adjusted my shopping time to avoid the crowds. Nice and allays clean. I don't use pickup therefore can not comment on that service but inside the store it's a friendly and helpful place. The meat market, seafood, and bakery is always stocked and fresh, same for vegetables and fruits. As in any place that is busy, certain times of the day the stock level is low but it's still reasonable. And no you don't have to work at a business to post a good review. read more

This is a Kroger on steroids. You take a SuperTarget, multiply the grocery side by four, add a jewelry store and why not, tack on a Pier One imports type of furniture place. And you can even add some Babies R Us as well. This store has it all. Sushi, fresh tortillas, fresh squeezed juices, veggies galore... they carry galanga and English cucumbers. Not many chain places carry specialty items like those. The international aisle can really keep you busy, every Latin American country and every Asian country seem to be there as well as a Tex-Mex section, a Cajun one and of course Kosher foods. This is a place you don't go in and out of in 20 minutes, if you're a foodie you spend two hours here. It is a bit out of the way, hiding in Little Elm, but if you happen to live around there, or want to take a ride, this place rivals Market Street and Central Market. Enjoy. read more

I love this store. The staff are attentive and always eager to help. I love the Kroger Marketplace stores. They are well organized. I have always loved shopping at Kroger stores. They are always clean and the selection is great. Because I am gluten free I have to read the labels on many items to make sure that I will not get sick from it. The lighting in the store is good. The aisles are wide so others can move around easily if someone is stopped in the aisles. I love the Kroger brands. Many of the items in them are gluten free and they keep adding more items to the list. At Kroger I can get all of my shopping done it one place. It is so great. It makes my life easier and less stressful. read more

This is for the grocery pick up, I ordered grocery pick up to save time, I put my order in 24 hours before my pick up time. In the app I set that I was 30 minutes away, showed up, set that I'm in my pick up lane, waited 5 minutes for me to get a call that my order was not ready and most likely will not be ready today and I can call back tomorrow to see if my order is ready. Keep in mind Kroger has already charged me for the order that I have no idea when I am getting now. I understand staff is low, and if I was called before I wasted an hour I would have a better review. I still had to go into the store get stuff so I could at least make dinner for the night and spend that extra money, and again time wasted. I Will not be shopping at this location any more and will proudly go to Sprouts for pick up, or even just drive a little extra to Whole Foods because even if I spend alittle more time driving it's more efficient than Kroger read more

If you decide to shop at this Kroger, you need to make sure you are inspecting the perishables AT LEAST three days before they are supposed to expire. 1. Three weeks ago, I bought a gallon of whole milk. Approximately three days before it was supposed to expire, I noticed that there was a film type substance on the inside of the gallon. I took the lid off and smelled it and it smelled rotten. As I dumped it out, there were some solid pieces hitting the sink. 2. I bought the Kroger brand English muffins 6 pack on a Sunday. On Tuesday, I had food poisoning. Wednesday morning, as I was loading my toaster oven with the English muffins, I noticed the bottoms were almost completely green with mold. This was days before they were supposed to expire. I took the remaining moldy muffins back to the Kroger and reported the issue to the store manager who could obviously do nothing but take a report of the issue. Today I get a call from Ellen or Helen or something who wanted an account of what happened. I actually don't know why she called because she tried to tell me that eating mold would not mimic food poisoning and that Kroger would need a stool sample to confirm. I swear to God, that's what she said. I told her that the next tine it happened I would make sure to have a stool sample and an attorney, which is ridiculous, because I'll never shop there again, and wished her a nice day. Bottom line is that, if you're going to shop at this location, at least protect yourself and your family by being extra vigilant about checking your purchases before they're set to expire to see if they've already expired. read more

As I was forced to come to "Yelp," due to Kroger not utilizing receipt surveys, which is understanding, I must complain about this location's customer service using this platform. During the time where online shopping is crucial and drive-thru pharmacy is critical for those who are vulnerable to whatever is in the air, I believe Kroger Marketplace has lost a loyal customer. I will not be losing out on much, since my only reason for spending my money there was because of the fuel points advantage on my personal budget. To be honest, I can grocery shop for cheaper right across the street. Anyways, working from home has changed the need for gas drastically, and yet the customer service that I received today was deplorable. To begin, the avoidance of human contact for pharmacy needs for those vulnerable to the illness is a best social distancing practice. As a long-term patient/advocate/researcher of juvenile diabetes, I recommend that anyone with vulnerable diseases really look into mail orders through CVS Pharmacy or other pharmaceutical providers. The cashier, who served my medical needs, was very unprofessional and insensitive to serving a person with an invisible disability who was wearing a mask. I could go into details more and "yelp" about my bad experience, but bringing attention to the practice of mail orders to save "all lives" is more important than complaining about a large company that treats its customers with disparity. The pharmacy won't fill an ivermectin prescription because there have been cases of ivermectin toxicity from people taking too much and having to go to the hospital. Isn't that funny, the pharmacist has no problem filling hundreds of pain pills every month that are highly addictive and result in thousands of hospitalizations due to overdoses. What about the 10's of thousands of deaths those prescription pain pills cause every year?! Big pharmas profits will always be prioritized over those they claim to protect. Kroger Marketplace has been in Little Elm for some years now. They carry the authentic condiments for a Chicago style hot dog (but no Vienna Hot Dogs, yet). They also have the Midwest favorite - Vernors Ginger Ale! Huge score! Boar's Head meats & cheeses and a great selection of pay-by-weight dried fruits and granola. Customer Service nightmare! I wish this were the first time I didn't get an item in my pick-up order. This order, I asked for 2 lbs Boars Head Black Forrest Ham. I got one package at 1.04 lbs, but was charged twice that exact amount twice. Mistakes happen, but its yet to be remedied. I tried doing the online chat feature, but automated system wanted to refund me 1 lb total, and didn't include the taxes I paid. So I called customer service to speak with a person, held for 24 minutes, got a person, get my information confirmed (name, phone number, Kroger ID, and the item needing refund) and all of a sudden the rep is saying "hello, hello, hello", she can't hear me suddenly, then hangs up. She had my info and didn't call back!! I call the store ask for supervisor, it rings without going to voicemail or a person. Called back again, asked for pick up, get Jeffrey, asked him to get manager, phone is set on counter with an open line (I can hear in the background), then someone picks up phone and hangs up. My husband is now on his way back to the store and can hopefully remedy this, but what on earth has happened to customer service!! Get your act together Kroger! Kroger is so trying to run me off. The staff is the friendliest. The night manager stocking the shelves, purposefully will not scan the barcodes of the top selling items. So, the fat free cheese, after audit, comes back as a not so good seller. Why? BECAUSE THEY DO NOT WANT TO RESTOCK IT! It makes the store too much money but creates work. Philly fat free cheese...Kraft ff? You say it doesn't sell? It's because they move the regular items into the vacant space. I usually don't shop here unless they're the only store that sells what I need because shopping here is such an awful agonizing experience. Today did not disappoint! First spent 10 minutes trying to find chipotle because none of the aisles are labeled correctly. Then I took my 7 items and went to pay. There was ONE register open or I could take my chances with the broken self checkout. I chose the broken self checkout. First I scanned all my items and bagged them and the machine froze. I pushed the yellow button to call the attendant over and over and over and over and over and nobody was even working in the self checkout area, so I abandoned my register and went to a different one. Just as I was getting to a different register, someone else jumped in front of me and took the only available register. I had to then get back on line and wait for another register to open up. While I was doing so (now 15 minutes into the checkout experience), an employee asked what I was doing and I explained that the machine froze and nobody was there to help me. The lady acted like I was crazy or making it up. Finally another register opened up and I started over, scanned and bagged all my items. Then I made the mistake of deciding to pay and the machine froze up. I tried 4 times to get a hold of a manager and after them paging a manager 4 times, nobody came to help me, so I left without any of my items. I know nobody at this store could give a damn but I'm a single parent of 3 small kids and have a very small window of time to do my shopping on a weekday and then I have to get home, and so I didn't get to eat dinner today. I used to love this store and would prefer it to Walmart. However with that being said the clicklist has become absolutely horrible. As I type this I have been sitting here for almost an hour now. When I pulled up there were two cars they got their groceries and left so I figured my turn nope still sitting here while other people have come and gone. I have called twice now looking for my order. This is the 2nd time this has happened this month. Last week was an hour and a half. WARNING: This location has a pest! This pest keeps opening containers and helping itself to the first serving and then putting the opened container back on the shelf! Be aware when buying pint-sized blue bell ice cream and potato salad! As a matter of fact, be careful with all smaller sized food containers that can be placed back on the shelf because they are being opened. This Kroger's has it all. Gas station, Starbucks, Sushi bar, Jewelry store, pharmacy, furniture, and .. oh yea, groceries. This is a great store and a new location. The staff is friendly and the store has everything - though some items are very hard to find. I've been shopping here for a few months I've learned that anything outside of what I'll call "mainstream items" is going to be located closer to the wine in the 'specialty' sections. This includes things like Malt Vinegar and Ginger beer. I hope I'm saving people a few miles of walking around with that helpful tip. I wish someone would have done that for me! Out of desperation (I looked for 30 minutes on my own) to find ginger beer (required for making a "Dark & Stormy" with rum and lime) I approached the "customer service" counter for help. I mention I was desperate because.. well, who has ever received 'service' at a grocery store 'customer service' counter? I was pleasantly surprised the person called in help and after she found direction she came out from behind the counter and walked me to the area where it was located. This has the worst Kroger click list in Dallas, the amount of errors, missed items and flat out poor choices by Kroger is astounding. Examples: ordered a dozen apples and Kroger gives one apple, ask for tomatoes on the vine (6), Kroger gives a single tomato, asked for shaved turnkey from the deli and Kroger gives packed turkey, asked for shaved honey ham and kroger gives thick cut ham, asked for one dozen brown eggs and Kroger just throws in a dozen white eggs asked for frozen shrimp and the Kroger shopper says out of stock and i walk in and there are 12 bags of shrimp. Just some examples of a total screw up. Now heading to Kroger on main and Teel where they can at least follow an online order to Re shop for groceries. Awful awful awful. We have shopped at this store since we moved back to this area 2 years ago. Today at the end of on of the isles we saw a sign for Simple Truth Organic Chicken Broth. Normally $1.99 but if you purchase 10 you would pay .99 each. Checking out it was ringing up as $1.99 I explained to Marylou our check out lady and she had to call the check out manager. Meanwhile my husband went to take a picture of the sign and everything was gone. This happened within 15 mins! Also the check out manager said he did not see the sign. What!? Now if I had been the checking manager I would have said no problem that's is what you will pay. It is not about the money as it was only $10. This is about customer service! Where did the sign go? Really sad how disorganized their order pick up is. I caught them marking two orders on two different times that i came and picked up an order when I hadn't yet. When I reached out to them about it they told me to call customer service. I explained that their location marked the order as picked up so why would I go through customer service. In error I placed an order for pickup here 3 days ago... last night I received a call from a young lady asking me to please cancel my order-- I declined as I have cancelled twice based upon pleas from employees at the windsong location. She got upset said fine, we will call you and let you know when we can do it, and slammed the phone down. Today I receive a notification that my order was picked up, when it wasn't... I called and was it told it had not been... no answer as to why it was marked picked up. My guess is they had a metric to meet and just decided to mark it picked up. I show up to pick up park in a spot, call and told my order would be right out. I then receive another call asking me to please pull up to the pickup door-- keep in mind not overly cold or raining. I pull up and get the order-- see substitutions that I don't want. I get out and tell person loading my car I don't want some substitutions--she then rudely tells me that In the near future customers will have to go inside return their substitutions. She then tells me it will be 7-10 days before I get money back on the items I didn't want. I believe that this location is dishonest and is trying to upset customers to not choose pickup anymore.
