We started with a plan..that added a beautiful Jade Maple to our front yard and dogwoods and arborvitae to the back in year one. In year two we added 2 serviceberries and shrubs! The landscape crew carefully placed our plants and we love the results!

I have been seeing these signs for years but never made it out to Blue Ridge Growers to actually pick blueberries. Since it is kind of a lazy Friday I decided that it would be a good time to go. It is about 6 miles out of River Falls off of Double M. Don't kid yourself picking blueberries is not as easy as you would think. The bushes are small and they like to hide behind the leaves and branches. I think it took us about 20 min to pick a pint which was $3. This place is pretty laid back, I had to hunt around for someone to explain things to me but once they did I was up and running. They have a lot of blueberries and also Raspberries but they were not ready to pick yet(Beginning of Aug)

As you walk onto the tree farm you are warmly welcomed by staff (or the owners) that help explain where to find things and how to check out etc. They have a fire pit to warm up by and free hot chocolate to sip while you look for your tree. They have a wide selection of tree species and sizes. Also have cute little areas to take a family photo. Cash or Apple Pay/debit cards are accepted. Overall it's well worth a visit. This is my family's second Christmas coming to Kavan Tree farm and we'll be back again next year!
