This is only my third time ever going to a salon in my entire life. I wanted to do something extremely drastic and I've never had my hair dyed before but I had heard good things about this place. I had my hair done by Kat and it was a great experience overall. Everyone else is super friendly and we had a very event full conversation. The end result was way better than I expected! I think I will definitely be coming here more often if I had more money to spend haha! I told her what I wanted and showed her some pictures. She was extremely thorough and very caring as to what I wanted and didn't want. I had my hair done by Katt... I was going from light blonde to a dark brunette with Carmel and copper tones through the bottom (photo provided) the first time I left the salon and saw my hair in the sun it was RED not brunette with a red undertone but RED and the top was really light compared to my desired goal (picture provided)... that night she attempted to fix it 2 more times... only making the roots darker each time (you can believe my scalp was dying) and not doing anything to the middle that was also red. As we finished the second attempt she said "if this doesn't fix the problem we won't be able to do anything more tonight and you'll have to come in on Halloween" this was on Saturday 10/19, Halloween is 12 days later! There was absolutely no mention of a cancelation list or alternatives! The salon was closed Sunday and Monday and Katt is out on Tuesdays. She told me she guarantees her color for 10 days... I found out Sunday morning that I had professional photos to be done when my partner came home from deployment and at this point... the roots of my hair were nearly black, the center VERY red, and the ends ash brown with a fun blonde patch in the back... Of course I had to have this fixed. I never should have left the salon. Because by the time I got ahold of Katt on Wednesday with the intention simply asking for an account credit of any kind I was told her work was no longer guaranteed due to "too many cooks in the pot" which I had NOT been told prior also that they don't do "any type of refunds" and her "hands were tied" When I had the color repaired all I asked is that they take some of the red away, it was so red that it was a struggle... it's still pretty dang red... I expected that Katt would be happy to help me achieve the end goal since I had my hair done 3 times in one day for heaven's sake, I obviously was not satisfied. I understand the color I wanted required a fill and that would include red, I understand that it had to be made darker to fix the red tones, but adding color just to the root only made my hair 3 different colors and not in an attractive way. In the salon lighting my hair looked okay, I felt so terrible at this point that I was hoping I was just shocked by the big change and wanted to try and "live in it" but woke up the next day and cried because I hated everything about it. I paid $180 (with a $20 discount- thank god) only to be told that there was nothing she could do. Katt was EXTREMELY rough throughout my service attempting to pull a heap of foils from my head all at once which didn't come out!! (Ouch) all of which is FINE if I liked my hair in the end. $200...(yes I tipped... remember in salon light my hair was sort of okay)... for $200 I received horrible color, itchy dry scalp, and even worse customer service. I wish she could have been honest and told me that she wouldn't be able to deliver my desired results. I feel extremely let down and taken advantage of. I wouldn't recommend Katt to anyone, she may be capable of doing great things, but I didn't get to see it and unfortunately she couldn't care less about customer satisfaction. **also if you notice I'm trying to smile because I REALLY REALLY wanted to like it! Booked an appointment for an overdue haircut. I'm from a huge city so I'm used to getting good haircuts. The last time I got my hair done was 9 months ago in Manhattan, KS. They butchered my hair and it came out really choppy. I was afraid of getting it cut again! Thank goodness I decided to give K's Beauty Lounge a shot because my hairstylist Vanessa was amazing! She was able to cut my hair just how I like it. After my cut, she made sure I was happy with it. I asked to get my hair thinned out more and she happily obliged! I have really thick hair so I'm glad she was able to tame the beast lol. The staff were really friendly and the salon is cute! Will definitely come back here again! read more

Beware before getting services done. Make sure you look at and ask how much it is. I went in for a regular mani & pedi, nothing fancy just REGULAR. I did have some sort of acrylic but not really? (it was done at Bellus, and it was really ugly). I did not ask for the price because I mean how expensive would it be?? I've gotten gel and design and all that add ons (in Hawaii where prices are on steroids) and paid like 95 dollars. So imagine my surprise when they told me it was like $130!!!! (Can't remember exact price but def over 100). I mean I've gotten a mani&pedi at the Laniwai spa at Disney resort in Oahu for less than that!!! And they brought me champagne. That is my main complaint. I know it's my fault for not asking, that's why I'm leaving a review for future customers to make it a point to ask. A soak off apparently is $25!!! Something I can easily have done at home. Most nail salon, if they charge at all, charges $5 at the most. Now on to the services. Definitely was not worth it. Not even close! The lady that did my nails was really friendly, hence the two stars. The owner was nice, but I really don't like getting propositioned for future services I can get from here. My nails turned out okay (which in itself is okay had it not been so pricey). Okay is not something you want to describe a finished product after paying for so much. So overall, nope not coming back. And also lesson learned. Just because an establishment doesn't look boujee doesn't mean they won't charge you an arm and a leg. read more

I feel embarrassed for even posting this but I can't help it to feel robbed by this business. I just paid $350 for two pedicures, manicures and eyebrows. I didn't even get lotion on my hands or feet pretty much just the nail polish that I had to pay a total of $75 for because I wanted a different color on my nails than my toes. I will definitely will be reporting this business to post so it becomes off limits for soldiers. I could have gotten better service at my spa in Manhattan and I would have gotten a massage and paid way less than this. They are not worth that kind of money. I wish they would at least had done a decent job but my nails look my daughter painted them ‍ read more

Came here to get my nails done, since there are not many nail salons in junction city. All I needed was a fill. However, when I left, my nails looked and felt worse than when I walked in. I don't remember her name, but the nail tech filed my nails by hand, no electric instruments whatsoever. They were rough, misshapen, and broke very easily. Very disappointed in the service provided. I'll add that the customer service was excellent. I just don't think they should be providing nail services. read more

It's been a few years since I care for my rough feet. I tell you, this was the best pedicure I've ever had. First, the facilities were very inviting and clean. I felt at home when I walked in. Next, everyone was very nice and cordial. That goes a long way. During the pedicure she was careful and asked about the pressure and whether it was painful or not. It wasn't. It was awesome. What I love most about Katt is her eagerness to listen and to really HEAR you when you tell her what you want. And what I love more than that is being able to trust someone so much that you're willing to sit in their chair and allow them the freedom to do what they want because you know it'll be a knockout job every time. Purchased in the high 3-digit gift certificate for my wife for her birthday. Person stated that there is no expiration on the certificate. Wife tried to book appointment with the certificate and was told it was no longer valid. Its been 3 months since the purchase. Certificate has no expiration date. After several arguments with them they decided to honor the certificate. Catch 22...they'll honor the value but not the services anymore. Whats the point in requesting specific services and then first not honor the certificate and then not honor the service?
