Classic Rock 93.1 in Perryville, MO. - Sorry to say, they are beating you guys by a mile when it comes to variety. It seems KSHE thinks playing the same overplayed songs again and again and again makes for good listening. No! It does not! Here's to hoping the next 50 years come with more song variety. You owe it to the STL listeners and to the radio station itself. I have to believe that the DJ's are better than this. I've been listening to KSHE for many years. I like all the DJ's, except Josh Innes. He's mean, angry and he sounds like he caters to a bunch of 9 to 16 year old boys. He can't talk about music, he has to talk about women's body parts. I turn off KSHE when he comes on, he lost me when he thought it would be 'fun' to have Coach do breast exams, right after Suzanne Somers died of breast cancer. I'm a breast cancer survivor, it's not 'fun'. I'm still surprised you have a job on KSHE. Grow up Josh. read more

Been listening to KSHE for 56 years best radio station in St Louis. Now it's like an AM talk show with a couple guys rambling nonsense! A little clue for you. People want to hear rock and roll that's why you've been in business for 56 years. Nobody wants to listen to these guys babbling. KSHE95 is the best progressive rock station hands down. I have listened since it's birth in 1967, when I lived in St Louis, about a mile from the old station. Now I live in Atlanta, and stream it daily. Classic Oldies show Sundays with the U-Man and Mark Klose is a home run! Love these guys. Good station. On Sundays, these guys know how to keep their audience's attention. The Seventh Day show is a staple of classic rock programming, and this one throws in a ton of oddball surprises. I don't think the station goes far enough in uncovering the real gems, however. As I type, Def Leppard "Love Bites" is playing on KSHE. Yeah, it was a good tune back when it came out, and for a few years thereafter, but in 2022, it's one of those songs indicative of the fact that the classic rock format is worn out, and somewhat unviable in 2022. The '80s onslaught, featuring tracks by Judas Priest, Metallica, and Scorpions, is about as tired as any. The Sammy Hagar program fits, but it's the Seventh Day that provides KSHE with the maintenance of its reputation. Yes, you may hear Led Zeppelin's debut, but you're also going to get the back catalogs from Montrose, Moody Blues, Supertramp, and many others who have been focus-tested off of the traditional AM-FM airwaves. If you can believe it, it was a breath of fresh air to hear Jimi Hendrix "Are You Experienced" in its entirety. Radio has written Hendrix out of history, with the lone exception of his Dylan cover "All Along the Watchtower." Radio doesn't play the most influential guitarist of all time anymore, but KSHE does.
