They do such a great job with local zydeco, cajun and Louisiana swamp pop. My favorite programs are when they have the local music talent on, and the entire show is in French Cajun dialect. There aren't any advertisements on this station, since it's on the left side of the dial, and is supported by listeners. So if you're listening, be sure to cough up some scratch for these guys and gals broadcasting from the swamps! This station still gets a bunch of the nationally syndicated radio shows from across the country, but the best stuff is certainly the locally produced shows. If you're a fan of accordions, which we all are, of course, then tune in, turn on! 88.7! This radio station never has any call in contests, but that's okay. Fortunately, you may tune in this station on your smart speaker by asking for the call letters, KRVS.

All the songs I grew up listening to with my parents. I don't care much for the amount of talking on the radio during the day times but I understand that they're supposed to talk about the sponsors and promote businesses in the area. They do have some of the most amazing games/call in type wins that are awesome. Always the best tickets to be won as well as other amazing prizes, and they're usually given away daily!
