I've been listening to this radio station ever since Rock 99 went off the air, so a long time. They…read moreplay classic rock and have a awesome selection. We will play it from 10 in the morning to 8 at night and rarely hear the same song twice. They have The Bob and Tom show on in the morning which just happens to be my favorite morning show and then in the afternoon during Spankmeister's show they do the Bob and Tom rewind to give you that boost till the next morning. Whether it be the great concerts or all the fun contests or the great rock they play all day, they bring that edge to the Springfield radio market. Thank you all that work over there for making my day go by quicker.

Driving through Springfield's rush hour traffic, I decided that it was time to get off the…read moresatellite radio and see what terrestrial radio in southern Missouri is playing. A few pushes of the "scan" button and I landed on US 97 aka the Rock of the Ozarks at 97.3. A few commercials and some decent "mainstream" rock and roll. Smashing Pumpkins, Seven Mary Three, Pink Floyd, AC/DC and then Metallica kept me going along until it turned to static after about an hour.
