I've listened to a station from this broadcasting group for the last four years. It's KBNW FM 104.5…read moreout of Bend, Oregon. This station has gotten so bad it's almost unlistenable. I called them today to let them know that they were dead air, again. If you listen to this station as much as I do, you'd know it's not uncommon for there to be dead air from a few seconds to several minutes, and on occasion for longer periods almost daily. What an embarrassment! Also, I can turn on this station as I leave my home outside Bend, drive the roughly 15 minutes to town, and have nothing but commercials. I'll do my shopping, come out to my vehicle and turn on the station, only to drive all the way home with nothing but commercials. I turn the radio way down and i don't even listen to any of the commercials. I also really hate all the commercials so much that I would never do business with any company advertising on the radio, the commercials are so annoying. For instance, one plumbing company has had the same stupid and annoying commercial now for YEARS about how they only knock so they don't wake your sleeping baby. This station is the single worst radio station I've ever listened to. I am a big fan of radio having grown up listening to some of the most famous and beloved stations of the 1960's and 70's. I guess I should do like my friends, and listen to the news radio at home on the Internet, and give up on the pathetic station we have here in Bend.

New…read moreownership has decided not to carry midweek games this season, such as today's game against Kansas State, as well as several Tuesday and Wednesday games throughout the season. When I told the new owner that I was extremely disappointed in his decision, he said, not very convincingly, "I'm sorry to hear that". I spoke with Beaver Sports Properties, and I was told that the owner of the station came close to not carrying our games at all. Please call KICE and let them know that we want all of our Beaver games on the radio!
