I freaking love maps, and I received a screen-printed topo map of the Chuckanut Recreation Area (where I've spent a lot of time hiking and trail running) onto a foam board as a Christmas gift from my mother. Chuck (the owner) was awesome when I picked it up. He went above-and-beyond and put a map of Bellingham on the back, and he gave me a paper copy of the current edition of the map (mine was old) and a paper copy of a map of lower BC/northwest WA. We spent some time chatting about maps and skiing and I had a great experience. My mother, who paid the bill, also said she had a great experience talking with Chuck. I would love to someday get the Mt. Baker Wilderness map printed, and possibly a few others, and Kulshan Cartographic Services will definitely be the first people I'll call.
