    L3. Sushi & Sashimi Lunch
    Ashley A.

Stopped by for a quick solo sushi bar lunch. Ordered the L3 combo with miso soup for $18. Fish was fresh. Asked for no escolar, so they made my plate with yellowtail, salmon, tuna, and ebi. The yellowtail was buttery and perfect. The tuna and salmon were fresh, salmon a little fatty. Excellent price and selection for lunch. I will return.

The food was incredibly delicious! I'm so happy we found this little gem here in Georgia! I am a huge ramen lover so I will go out of my way to try some! I've eaten a lot of ramens but none has ever hit the spot like this did! It was creamy, warm, and their heart was in this! The service was amazing our waitress was so kind and came to check on us the entire time! The ambience of the place is very calming I just wasn't expecting to watch football while eating ramen . The Japanese waffle ice cream was out of this world! It was so soft! Definitely would eat here again

We placed an order to go. The food was packaged perfectly and it has a beautiful presentation. The hubby ordered the Philadelphia Roll, Tuna Tataki and Tuna roll with added cream cheese. He said that it had more rice vs sushi. He would order something else next time. That was disappointing to him. I ordered the vegetable habachi and added tofu. It was absolutely delicious and I will order from the again! I had also requested if they could please make sure that there was no cross contamination with seafood or meats since I am a vegetarian and they absolutely accommodated my request. Habachi is one of my favorite things to eat but, difficult to order for me. Thank you guys for doing this for me! :)

Food was good just not traditionally flavored. Hibachi was more like teriyaki and the hot tea wasn't your usual jasmine. Also the yum yum sauce was a different version. Service was great and very fast. The ambiance is laid back and pretty quiet.

First time eating ramen! Excellent! Great service. Clean and efficient. Good pricing.

I Love this spot!!! So many great options and the service is great. I have been eating their spider roll and hibachi!!!!

What an amazing experience. My wife is the Ramen expert and she is the pickiest person I know when it comes to Ramen. This is now her favorite Ramen place and I gotta say this dish was so tasty. We got the Tonkotsu Ramen with pork. So tasty. Sometimes you get it and the soup is watery- not so here it was full of flavor- we got it medium spicy- what a treat. They have 100A rating and the staff was so friendly- you must check this out if you are north of the perimeter you may never go back! They also have a Sushi Bar and I'm going to try that next. Prices are reasonable and setting is casual. Oh almost forgot- there a Brewster Ice Cream joint outside so save a little room for that.

I stopped by for lunch and couldn't wait to try out this new place! Lunch special is a great deal for what I got! I ordered the Sushi & Sashimi lunch. The rice needed more flavor. Maybe more vinegar. And some of the fish did not have a fish taste. It had no flavor. Nice ambiance and service was quick.

One of my favorite ramen places when I visit family! The restaurant is homey on the inside and all the waiters and waitresses are kind and have great suggestions. The food is so delicious and accommodating to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. There are abundant options for various diets and every single appetizer I've tried so far is a huge hit (especially the chicken yakitori)! I always get the chicken ramen, and I'm a big stickler for smell since I always notice a certain aroma with chicken ramen that I dislike, but the lack of that smell was a real attribute for using fresh materials and cooking everything thoroughly. The vegetable ramen is also delicious, and they did not hold back on ingredients for vegetable ramen like most other places too. It was just as filling as the rest of the dishes, which I appreciated. Finally, Kumo's desserts are to die for, especially the Japanese ice cream waffles! My brother and I have such a fun time with the different flavors. The strawberry is not overwhelmingly sweet and the flavor really comes through, and the green tea is not super sweet but compliments the waffle really well. And in terms of price, this place is SUPER affordable and very cheap prices for high quality food. This is definitely a go-to restaurant every time I come home, and I highly recommend it!

The service here was excellent! This was the only place I found open on the evening of 4th of July. The reviews were great so I decided to give them a try. I was nervous that it would be really crowded and service would take a hit due to that, but I was promptly greeted and assisted once I arrived. I got the shrimp hibachi with fried rice. It was cooked fresh and came out quickly. I'll be honest though, I don't get the hype. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing? But I was definitely underwhelmed. I'd like to return and try something different just to see if I feel any different. The great service encourages me to come back and try again. I'd say 3 stars for the food I got but definitely a 5 for service, so averaging that to a 4 for this review.

I came here after ziplining and was starving. I ordered Vegetabke Gyoza which was delicious and vegetable ramen. It's not on the menu but asked for vegetable brother rather than chicken broth to make ramen vegetarian. The ramen came out very quickly with plenty of toppings: corn, seaweed, tofu, broccoli, etc. I was a little disappointed in the broth as I felt it was a little bland but overall the ramen was delicious. I have enough for dinner as well.

So, I can only vouch for my experience eating Japanese food to state that the tsukemen at Okiboru is just like what I have eaten in Japan, specifically the Kansai region. Being that I prefer tsukemen over ramen, dipping sauce over soup, over the years, I have definitely eaten my fair share of this type of noodle. The broth is a thick gravy that is meaty and dashi-rich at the same time. Not too salty, although slightly bitter at times. What really stands out at Okiboru is their thick and toothsome tsukemen noodles. The texture of these noodles alone keeps me returning. QR code menu and friendly service. We decided to try Slurpin' Ramen Bar first. I had read that they originally started in California so I had a good feeling about it and I'm so glad we went! It was so good that we didn't want to leave any behind so we actually took the leftover broth with us for the 5-hour drive home (thankfully we had a cooler bag!). I immediately had to tell my son who's currently living in LA for college so he can visit one there too. This place is definitely going on our must-visit restaurant list from now on.

First, when you walk into the restaurant, it is very cute, has a bar for solo diners and booths incase you are in a group. The location is very cozy and the employees were great! Our server was very patient and had no problem explaining, re-explaining, and confirming with the chef if he wasn't 100% on an answer. I got a tofu rice bowl, which I typically don't get and it was delicious! I asked if the salad could be put on the side rather than in the bowl and was given a full side salad that I wound up mixing into my rice lol. I also added broccoli to the bowl, which I probably wouldn't do again because it was pretty bland, but overall the bowl was good. Now the vegan dumplings... were FANTASTIC! We shared the dumplings and everyone agreed that they were easily the best thing that we had eaten the whole day. The green color threw me off at first, but the crispiness and texture of the dumpling was amazing. I would love to go back and try the ramen to see how it measures up, but again, great experience. Also, when you are paying the check, they bring you a small bucket full of dum dum lollipops, which I thought was a great touch. Me and my adult guests all left like happy children, which is exactly how eating out should make you feel.

They're not just noodles, they're noodle artistry. The broth was rich, cozy, and the kind of thing that makes you pause mid-bite and go, "wait... why is this so good?" (Apparently this place is known for its fresh, handmade noodles and hearty broths, and yeah... that checks out. ) We ordered: * Sesame balls (dangerously snackable) * Chicken hand-pulled noodle soup (add the egg, trust me) * Shanghai pan-fried pork buns (crispy-bottomed little pockets of joy) * Lamb noodle soup (deep, savory, "I might become a regular" energy) Everything came out hot, fresh, and in portions that basically said, "we care about you... and your leftovers." Also, bonus points for being the kind of place where you can go full noodle goblin and nobody judges you. Final verdict: 5/5 Would absolutely return. Would absolutely bring friends. Still, I really liked the vibe of the restaurant, and all that they had to offer, so we decided to try again. Well, again, we ordered the Galbijjim...and this time, there wasn't a Regular or Spicy like last time. We also ordered a small size of Seafood Pancake. Well...Gotta be frank. This time, the Galbijjim was TOO mild. In fact, it even had this brown watery soup base (which I don't remember was a thing with Galbijjim??). WOW. Just can't seem to find the right balance here. Quite disappointing because we both were knocked over by just how AMAZING it was in the original Duluth location. Unfortunately, the Galbijjim at this location is just not the same. It's either too hot-spicy...or too mild (and soupy?!?). Also, the portion is WAY smaller...almost too small. If you look at the hot pot, it barely fills the bowl (?!?). Too mild...too soupy...and too skimpy. So again, we were quite disappointed. We agreed that if we're to have Galbijjim, we'll be going to the Duluth location over this one. Two Strikes, and OUT for me! Their side dishes were good...but again, I felt that the Duluth location offers a much more spirited variety of sides as well. Not sure why this is the case? I found this surprising as well...given how high the ratings were here?? Luckily, there was something we were impressed with...and that was their Seafood Pancake. It was MUCH crunchier than how I remembered it in the past...and both my husband and I agreed that this was THE best version we've had to date! We regretted not ordering the large size of this...as we enjoyed this more than the Galbijjim! It's so unfortunate that I'm still not able to upgrade the review to 5 stars...especially given how I love the vibe of this restaurant! Service is quite good too. But their Galbijjim continues to disappoint...so must dock another star. Maybe if I/we revisit, I'll order something else from their menu...and hopefully, it'll be better than their version of Galbijjim???
