The service manager, Danny, is a con man full of broken promises, lies and excuses. He promised my parents that he would fix the broken windows and deliver their motorhome to them at 10:00 am. This after many months of requesting that he do the job he promised and was paid to do. He told them it would be ready on April 15th, they drove 2 hours to pick up their motorhome, which suddenly and unexplainable was not available to them. If it was not ready, why could someone not call this couple and tell them not to make the 2 hour drive. Then after setting up a meeting at 10:00 at the campground for a delivery, still no call saying that they would be delayed - 8 hours. Leaving my 79 year old father sitting in his car waiting for his motor home to be delivered. Horrible service! If a simple phone call can not be made, how can you trust the workmanship? read more

I recently purchase a preowned diesel pusher from Kunes Country RV in Elkhorn WI. My sales person Mike was great to work with and followed thru on everything you discussed. Just prior to delivery of the coach their detailer accidently broke the illuminated clear entry-door grab handle. Mike and the dealers sales manager Scott said they would get a replacement sent to us from Newmar. We received the part only to find it was the wrong one. I put together a pictorial of the grab bar we received along with the spec for the Newmar part we needed and emailed it to both Mike and Scott. After not hearing any replay in over a week I placed a call to Mike. The receptionist said Mike had retired (Sounded a little fishy).. I then asked to talk with Scott and was placed on hold. Scott answered the call and acknowledged he was aware of the problem and would look into it further once he was finished with a customer and call me right back. To date I have heard nothing and its been over more than a week! It always interest me when the customer service and promised follow thru seems to end when your check clears their bank. Be very careful with what your promised from this dealership... When poor customer care starts at the top it can only go down hill from there! read more

We purchased a new RV from Kunes/W. Oregon, WI. in Sept. 2022. We traded in our current unit. The buying/selling went very well. We were told by Chet, the service manager, that customers purchasing new RV's there would have top priority in the service department. We called for an appointment for warranty work 3rd week of September. Could not get it in until Oct. 11. The RV did not get in for service until end of November and only because of the multiple calls that were made. We were told the RV was finished, went through the list over the phone and again were assured all action items were resolved. After a lost day of work to travel 3 hours each way to pick up the RV, it indeed was not finished. After much pressured on our end, the RV is home Dec. 2. but only after we were to be charged for a diagnostic fee, which is covered by warranty! A good place to buy, cut and run. This company is as good as it gets! We recently took our Coachman RV to Dehaan to have the flooring replaced and the slide serviced. Kylee heads the service department and her dedication to quality customer service and repairs is very evident. This was not an inexpensive repair, but deep down, we know that for the money, we received a quality job. We were kept informed of the progress, complete with photos, and were consulted each time Dehaan discovered an area of concern that could/should be addressed. The technician that installed our flooring and serviced our motorhome is very talented and we are very, very satisfied with the result. It is evident that he takes pride in his work. We anticipate and look forward to a worry-free 2012 camping season! If you are looking for a small family operation that cares about you and your coach, you would be well served to make the trip to Elkhorn, Wisconsin. Buyer Beware, Dehaan does not service what it sells. In fact they lie about the condition of an RV than refuse to fix safety issues under the guise of "as is". They also charge exorbitant labor cost. $450.00 to rewire batteries. Not replace, just wire. Steer clear of this place as you will be taking it in the pocket book after the fact. read more

Leading up to the purchase of a 2021 Coachmen Catalina Legacy, sales rep was very personable. There was items identified needing attention like dinette trim on walls coming off and water left in holding tank. I was assured it would be taken care of-not! I was pressured to buy additional products, I felt I was in a car dealership. I found additional items once getting the trailer home. Called dealer and was told to take pics and have warranty work done before storage. What? The trailer was staying up North, not now......I have to bring it back again- work gets done- take back up north......how inconvient can they make it. I feel the customer service went out the door after I signed my name. Very disappointed! Would not refer friends or family to this dealer. read more

Needed some warranty parts ordered for our brand new 2022 RV. (This was not purchased from them but they are the closest dealership that deals with our manufacturer.) I called about a month ago and was connected with a gal from the service department who I explained my situation and she said she would get someone to call me who knows more about warranty work. The next day a gentleman called me saying they would need pictures and gave me the email address to send them to. I got them the pictures after a few days and then... nothing for weeks. I called multiple times leaving messages and no one ever returned my call. Today I basically told the front desk gal that I did not want to leave a message and she was able to get someone on the phone. I was put on hold multiple times hung up on multiple times and then reminded that I could just text this number instead of calling them (even though no one had originally told me that.) After being hung up on again I was called back and then told that my claim is still being processed... (remind you multiple weeks later) and no one even bothered to email me to tell me or to just give me a call back since I had called and left multiple voicemails. If I do not end up hearing anything again I will be contacting the manufacturer to see what my options are and to let them know the horrible reputation this gives their company. read more

I bought a 2021 Forest River Sunseeker in March 2021. The experience was terrible and I would suggest finding another dealer for your purchase. The salesman, Danny, made a lot of promises that he didn't keep. He also told me he personally installed items on the RV that I found out were missing. He then blamed it on the service department for "their" mistake. The finance guy, Shawn, was rude and tried to lecture me about their extended warranty and if I didn't buy it I was making a huge mistake. The dealership was supposed to take care of registration and licensing and made no mention that a third party company would be involved until after I purchased it. When the third party company was unable to license or register the RV they sent me the paperwork so I could do it myself but offered no reconciliation for my time or money back that was in base purchase price. After nine months of going back and forth for warranty items and missing material from the initial walk thru I still haven't received the missing items. I involved the sales manager, Tim, and the general manager, Scott, but the dealership has gone silent. In short, if you want to purchase an "as is" new RV with no support from the dealership and standard items missing then this is your place. If you want any support and want your product to include the items you paid for in your purchase price you may want to consider going somewhere else. read more

I was disappointed at the price of winterizing my pop up . I asked them to show me how to turn on the heater, they found it was broke. I told them to go ahead and fix it and I'll pick it up after weekend( going out of town). They said part 30 and install 60. They called me 20 minutes later to say it was done but I had told them I was going out of town. When I did come to get it they charged me $180.00. That was in addition to paying for winterization. Do NOT take your RV to this place for service!!! I took mine in to get checked over and they said nothing worked. Charged A LOT for nothing. I get home and check the batteries and 2 of the batteries were bad, in fact one was cracked open. Well, go figure. If they, DeHann RV would have checked the batteries I could have replaced them and then MAYBE stuff would have worked. Instead they didn't. What a waste of time and money.
