horrible. came in more than an hour before closing and there were no more boba balls and most of their teas were also out. workers were apathetic and turned away more customers on their own accord instead of suggesting other drinks/toppings. if I was in charge of this franchise I'd consider fresh hires. read more

First time trying bubble tea! The staff was very helpful in my decision on what to order. They even gave me a sample of the tapioca bubbles before I decided to add them to my drink. I settled for the strawberry lemonade with tapioca bubbles. It was great! The bubbles get in the way when you are at the bottom of the drink and I probably wouldn't add them a second time but it was definitely interesting! This place has awesome hours (open late 7 days a week) and free WiFi. Had the milk tea with bubbles and it was very tasty. Looks like they deliver which could be a fun treat, but haven't tried that personally. Limited parking up front, but I have found a spot both times. read more

FINALLY. A place in Harrisonburg with good bubble tea. I've had Kung Fu tea in Northern Virginia so when I found out it was coming here, I was super excited. It allows you to have tons of options, from amount of sugar to ice. Also, the herbal jelly on the menu is just grass jelly (if you've ever had it). You also get tons of tea options! I was so happy when I saw a Kung Fu Tea had opened in Harrisonburg, since there really was not a good bubble tea option near where I visit in Va. and this one is right on my drive there! It's in a nice little strip shop area. It has a lot of space, lots of places to sit. They have some board games to play for those who are just hanging out. The counter is decorated with cute Funko Pop! Figures! The Bubble Tea is great! I first had Kung Fu Tea in NYC and loved it so I was so happy to see it had opened up in other states. I visited a while back. This place has a great atmosphere, especially if you want to spend time with friends. They have all sorts of games there. The drinks in my opinion are a bit expensive, so it's definitely something I would only get when I really crave bubble tea. One thing I really wish that they did was have a punch card system. The drinks are great but the blonde staff member was so rude ! When we came into the store she just gave us a dirty look and acted like she didn't want anybody to come in. Best boba Tea in Harrisonburg! Excellent service with friendly employees, you can tell the people that work here are passionate about kft. With a fully loaded drink menu, great decor, jay chou music videos, and fun board games the atmosphere at this kft is unlike any others. I feel pretty conflicted about this place. Their teas and drinks are all so amazing and that's why I continue to go. I frequently order ahead, and place add on's on my drink, but when I get to the store, they inform me that they are out of what I asked for. Normally this wouldn't be a huge problem, but I pay extra for these, and it's a shame I don't receive them, or a refund. Many times when I walk in the workers are on their phones which is fine, but I have waited 15 minutes at the counter for someone to come and take my order before. Sometimes the staff won't make eye contact with me as they are on their phones, and make me wait there while they text... right in front of me while I wait to order. More than once I have sat in my car waiting for the store to open when their hours indicate that they are open, and no one comes to open the store. Today, I watched a worker arrive 3 minutes after the store was supposed to be open and continue to make several guests wait outside for what has now been 10 minutes after opening. Overall, I really like Kung Fu Tea as a chain, but I receive better service from other locations. read more

Disappointed. I had been so excited to go and found not a single decaf or caffeine free tea option. I LOVE tea. Have been known to travel just to Go to tea bars. Have 15-20 tea choices at my house at all times. I can only drink decaf or caffeine free. So I was very sad upon my arrival. Several choices for kids. My Son was happy. His lemonade was good.
