We stumbled across this park on our way to Oberammagau and decided to visit it on the way back…read morethrough. Our visit to Skyline Park marked our fifth visit to an amusement park in Germany (Legoland, Tripsdrill, Europa Park, and Schwaben Park being the other four).
The park is fairly expansive and it seems like they are adding new rides, as there was some construction happening when we were there (July 2015). Skyline Park had some good rides and some original ones we haven't seen before. They had a Tarzan swing, which puts any zipline to shame. There was a boat ride which literally launches you off a ramp, then pulls you back on the ramp.
My only issues with the park seemed to be the maintenance of the rides. We went in July, which should be peak season for the park. However, there were more than a few rides that were down for maintenance for half of the day and the rides that were working seemed to be in need of a mechanical and aesthetic overhaul.
Overall, the park was a great way to spend a Friday afternoon, however, if given the choice, I would go with Trispdrill or Europa Park.
