Jeff responded very quickly to all the inquiries. Super organized and focused. He made sure that all the questions were addressed, and we had the relevant information. I prefer private active travel. Jeff organized the transfers and tours. At the end of the trip we had a last minute request to change the itinerary to visit a Rose Plantation (Ecuador is a major exporter of roses. Who knew! He asked us questions to better understand our interests and then he suggested various sights and activities that we might enjoy. Once we agreed upon our travel dates he arranged all the hotels, private ground transportation, and activities. Our driver Wali was fantastic, and full of interesting stories about the country, and its natural beauty. We enjoyed every minute of our experience in CR, and each day was better than the next. Our activities were lots of fun (whitewater rafting, ziplining, hiking trails to see waterfalls, to name a few), and the accommodations were top notch. If you want to see Costa Rica as a tourist, call someone else, but if you want to see Costa Rica from the perspective of a native, call Flavio and he will take excellent care of you. Communications was by cell phone or email, and although we did have a few hour time difference, it did not make things too difficult. Costa Rica is a beautiful country and our whole group wholeheartedly recommends Lifetime Vacations.
