Well, in looking at the storefront you can see from the pumps to the restrooms, things get progressively worse, as far as deterioration. There are some major repairs needed & an overall lack of cleanliness. The restroom is one toilet, one semi-attached sink, no toilet tissue holder of any kind, no paper towel dispenser or dryer. No surface gave off safe to touch vibes. I feel like I'd have been better off not washing my hands, luckily, with Covid, everyone seems to have their own sanitizer. There are holes in the walls. Sticky splatter covers the restroom floor. Someone added a note to the wall recommending they clean the room. While a good cleaning is certainly in order, they could also use $50 of patch & paint, plus some essentials - like dispensers for the tissue & paper towels... as tempting as the assortment of restroom napkins may be, it's not becoming in a business bathroom. That aside, on entry & exit, staff were friendly. Gas pricing was reasonable. No covid precautions observed.

There's a Kum & Go that's pretty creepy all the way up the street, but aside from that, you have to get off of San Marten to get any gas. As I'm someone who comes to the mall pretty often, I was glad to see this new gas station pop up. This gas station is also equipped with a car wash station. It's a very new building with a ton of gas pumps to match. However, despite just opening less than a month ago, three of the gas pumps were out of order. I had to actually wait in a line to get gas during the middle of a day on Thursday - which is something that has never happened to me. On the bright side, I guess it means that Waterloo really could have used this gas station. For those that don't want to worry about turning directly into, or out of, the gas station onto busy San Marten, Kwik-Star's parking lot directly connects to the Super Target parking lot, so you'll be able to get out in an indirect way that goes directly to a stoplight for an easier time getting back onto San Marten. Overall, it's definitely an awesome place for a gas station, and it's clear that it's new and clean. I was surprised to find that things were out of order already, and I was surprised to see quite so many people.
