My husband and I stopped in to grab a monster energy drink we stood at the counter for 5mins yelling hello before someone came up front. Then when it rang up wrong my husband told him and he said well I don't know. He's like well do u want your money back I said yes I'd like the difference back. He had to call his manager. who told him that was the right price the company didn't change it. I told him the price on the tag in front of monster energy drink says 24oz $4.49 and that's exactly what I got. I was told by the manager and the employee that I'm not getting the price difference I either had to return it or keep it. The employee even Went over and showed the manger the price tag on his FaceTime call with him left the tag and told me that's the price take it or leave it. That was very rude and disrespectful. They knew it was the wrong price and left the tag so other customers and get charged the wrong price also. The new Casey's looks like a better place to go from now on. read more

my wife and I stopped to get drinks we found them in the cooler with a sticker that has them priced at 4.49 we went to the counter no one was watching the front of the store we walked and said hello for almost 2 minutes before someone came out they charged us 5.98 each then when I said something about the price the cashier had to call his manager who said they were in the wrong spot without even looking they didn't move from the counter and cashier says that what he said so there is nothing I can do even though the tag specifically said what it was we grabbed just rude and no customer service the nice new Casey's across the street might be our new place to go read more

Decent gasoline fuel location that offers gasoline for the local and traveler to come and stop to fuel up their vehicle of any kind. They have food, drinks, restrooms and the staff are really nice and friendly. First time coming to this gasoline fuel location and it was a nice location easy to get to. read more

A solid little gas station and c-store on I-29 between Omaha and Kansas City in Mound City. Nothing fancy, but have stopped here multiple times over the years. They have a new building as of a few years ago, with the old one now housing a restaurant. A handful of pumps, and the C-store has you covered. Snacks, beer, and a solid looking coffee/soda self serve area. In and out with no hassles. read more

I've never seen gas pumps so slow - 1 gallon per minute - yipes.

I went to Kwik Zone in Mound City to fill up my truck with diesel fuel and the screen on the pump would not clear so I could use my credit card. It was pump No 5 and the family ahead of me on pump 6 told me the pump would not work for them either. So as they left I pulled up to pump 6 to get fuel. I tried using my card and the screen would not accept the card and told me to see cashier or pay cash. I went inside to see what the problem was and the manager, The manager and the other cashier were standing behind the counter talking and ask if they could fix the pump I am a local person and have dealt with the store many times before and always joke with the cashiers and personal, it is just my nature as I do my best to be friendly with everyone I meet. The cashier ask me what I needed and I told her I wanted to fill my truck and that the pump was not working and the folks ahead of me also said it was not working. The manager never said a word to me and I thought that a manager was supposed to address any problem that arose at the business when a customer came in. The manager is supposed to handle problems I thought. One cashier spoke up and told me to go find the other cashier because she was out there smoking. Well I went out the door alright and straight to my pickup and left. I went down the street to another station and filled the truck. I live about 3 miles from town and purchase most of my fuel in this town and I guarantee I will never go back to Kwik Zone again after that encounter. I will not reccomend any of my friends or anyone else to trade with that business ever again. read more
