I had the pleasure of working with Norah when she came to shoot my Jack Russell, Toby and I after I found out he was diagnosed with cancer. I was told he probably didn't have much longer to live and he had been such a huge part of my life since he came into this world. While he was still active I wanted to capture his spirit and our bond with some professional photos. I stumbled upon Norah Levine Photography and I am so thankful that I did. After I reached out to Norah through her website she was very quick to respond and before we even talked about photos or business, she wanted to hear about me and Toby. I could tell immediately that Norah was very sincere and passionate about not just photography, but the special bond between animals and their guardians. We set up a time to come meet Toby and go over the vision I had. Norah came by and she was so warm, kind, and spent a lot of time getting to know Toby and his big personality. We talked about the things I wanted to try and capture, and how we would go about that. Norah was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and patient with all my questions (and there were a lot!). She put me at ease as I was a bit nervous because this was so important to me. On the day of the shoot, we had so much fun and the whole time everything flowed naturally and went very smoothly, which can be a huge challenge when you're trying to get the still attention of a JRT. Norah was very creative and thorough - she had great ideas on backdrops, locations, angles and all those technical things - she was a pro. I could not wait to see how things turned out! Soon after our shoot Norah was able to share proofs of the photos from the shoot. I couldn't believe how amazing they turned out! I was all smiles and tearing up because she truly captured what I had hoped for and the photos were beautiful beyond what I imagined. Norah offers electronic and physical copies of your photos which was very important to me, including photo books and other beautifully-crafted items. I still show off my pictures with pride to friends, family and coworkers. It never fails that I get gasps, "ooh's" and "wow's." Toby has survived his battle with cancer and is doing very well. I will treasure these photos for a long time to come and if you are looking to capture something or someone the very best way possible, you have found her. Your trust will not be misplaced.
