Kynd Tea at its pop up location in Fishcake, which is located in the heart of Kaka'ako. Today was a flash flood warning weather day! My Yelp buddy Irene and I braved the stormy weather and heavy downpours to sample pop up vendors Kynd Tea and Bintana. Both are excellent food and drinks establishments! I ordered my new found favorite of strawberry and matcha tea. It's one of Kynd Tea's most ordered matcha drinks. I asked for half sweet. Mike was the mixologist extraordinaire! He created a perfect blend of matcha and strawberry with oat milk. The taste was smooth, creamy and full of matcha goodness. Thank you Mike. I'll be back to try more of your creations! The crazy weather did not dampen the awesome service and ambiance here. We enjoyed a relaxed time and enjoyed watching the rain fall.

Always try to catch Kynd Tea wherever they pop up, especially when they're at Cake in kaka'ako. Not only do they have a variety of drinks that are equally flavorful as they are beautiful, but the owners are so sweet and accommodating. Wonderful customer service. While all their drinks I've tried are delicious, I'm absolutely hooked on the coconut water matcha!! You'll just have to try them all for yourself to see which one's your favorite!

Customer service is the best at Kynd Tea! And the matcha is not only adorable but delicious as well. Kynd Tea is located in fishcake at Kakaako. Each matcha is hand-whisked and crafted. You can opt for non-dairy milk. They have cool flavors on rotation! When I visited, they offered a kabocha matcha! How cool is that? My strawberry matcha was beautiful in appearance and taste. My boyfriend loved his strawberry shortcake matcha. He was offered $1 back because they ran out of strawberry topping, which I thought was super generous! I will definitely visit again, maybe even sign up for an art class at fishcake! Cute date spot!

Guava Princess $9 - Guava-Yuzu syrup, organic Oolong Tea, Yogurt cream top, adorned with flower and mint spring. Highly recommended.

Kynd Tea's pop-up at Fishcake on Kamani St in Kaka'ako, gracing Sundays and Tuesdays with its presence, unfolded for me like a culinary treasure hunt, and I'm still buzzing from the experience! The limited menu (with just 5 items plus 1 sold out) turned out to be a blessing in disguise, unveiling a small but premium gallery of amazing concoctions that begged to be immortalized on my Instagram feed; each drink was so visually stunning it deserves a Hollywood star on the Walk of Fame. I echo the glowing reviews I've seen online about Kynd Tea's artistry and flavor precision. I indulged in the Guava Princess ($9), a masterpiece blending guava-yuzu syrup, organic oolong tea, and a luscious yogurt cream topping, crowned with a delicate pink flower and a sprig of mint; the first sip was a symphony of deliciousness and refreshing bliss that danced on my taste buds like a tropical breeze. I honestly didn't want the drink to end. My friend couldn't stop raving about her Da Pink Kynd ($8), a vibrant elixir of calamansi juice, strawberry syrup, and dragonfruit syrup, where every sip through the straw revealed delightful bursts of fruit that made her smile widen with each gulp. The creativity here is what is noteworthy; it had me swooning over the meticulous craftsmanship and unique flavor profiles that set Kynd Tea apart. Yes, these rare delights come with a price tag of $8-9, but the effort poured into each made-to-order creation justifies every penny; it's worth the occasional splurge for their Instagram-worthy allure and bold taste. The pop-up's charm lies in its exclusivity, though it demands a strategic approach--my advice is to roll up with a friend who can hold down the fort in the car while you dash in, as the wait for these handcrafted wonders can test your patience...located outside Fishcake's vibrant space on their designated days, Kynd Tea transformed my afternoon into a sensory escape to the extraordinary!

Outside of Fishcake... on the sidewalk!

Refreshing beverage in Kaka'ako, Honolulu, Hawaii... After doing a few hours of yard work, I needed hydration and searched my Yelp app for something relief! Kynd Tea was going to close in 45 minutes, so I drove over quickly! Located at Fishcake as a pop-up, I learned about Kynd Tea from their Instagram giveaway. LOL! I saw their beautiful creations and was happy that their schedule matched mine on a Sunday when metered street parking is free! However, they're situated on the sidewalk, outside of Fishcake on Sundays. They're currently inside Fishcake on Tuesdays. The summer heat outside isn't too bad at 3:30pm... especially when Miki is working! Yes, Miki is a fun, knowledgeable staff who was training Sarah on her first day of work! Wow! What an ambitious, bright, and efficient worker Miki is! Anyway, I ordered a Lilijoy Refresher AND a Strawberry Matcha Latte. They were both pretty and high-quality! They're not watered-down, nor too bitter, nor too sweet, but just right! I drank the Lilijoy Refresher first because I needed some fluids stat! The calamansi and lilikoi flavors were healthy and light! The jasmine tea added a hint of floral notes and the Butterfly pea tea added color and beauty. The pink carnation on the top was a cute touch! The Strawberry Matcha Latte with Oat Milk was rich and decadent! The strawberry purée balanced out the matcha nicely! The oat milk added smoothness! I was really happy to find this relatively new business! They helped me to be Kynd to myself! Thank you!

Two different pop ups, First time at dipped by dee's then i tried again at the wai kai night market. These drinks are amazing! Extremely refreshing and filling. I had 3 drinks in one evening I needed to try the watermelon and dragonfruit .... lol it was worth it. Any time i'm at a food farmer market im keeping my eye out for them.

super cute pop up that just opened up within the last month or so! You'll have to check IG where she will be, but we found her at fishcake located in the Ward area on a Saturday afternoon. I've seen her do some markets too. Her drinks are organic and ranges between 8-10$ each, all very beautiful and social media worthy. I got the guava princess for $10 and it had a yogurt foam on the top. She sometimes uses a VW bus which adds another level of aesthetics. Everyone was really friendly and i like the fishcake location because it's dog friendly.

Got to try them at Taste of Aloha- as delicious as they are beautiful!!! The mango puree wasn't very strong but omg it was so delicious and smooth. The mango sago seasonal drink was SOOOO yummy. Almost yogurty? The matcha mango latte was also delicious, the mango puree was not as strong as I was hoping but the matcha to milk ratio was perfect. Very strong matcha. And the cups are cute Check their insta for their specialty drinks that come and go, as well as where they'll be popping up!

Kynda Tearrific... Though the hunt of finding them popping up around town is much harder than it seems for me personally but luckily they were at Taste of Aloha Night Market the newest market in town with the a vibrant vibe so you know that I had to hele on down to Waterfront Plaza is where it's at happening every second Saturday of the month and wow the line not surprisingly was quite long but gosh the team worked in tandem to make each drink which is meticulously crafted. On this night there were five to choose from and I got a couple of them the "Guava Princess" and "Golden Hour" both couldn't be any more different though I did love them both. I got the Guava for my bestie but did take a sip of it and WOW the taste of the globe it had fro the guava, yuzu with Oolong tea base topped with whipped yogurt cream was a bougie sip. Golden Hour was more on the sweet side for me personally though they did make sure to inform you to stir it really well as the marmalade is on the bottom but the yuzu-ginger and kahuku honey wasn't as prominent as I think the marmalade over powered it all though I love the Mamaki tea base was very light and refreshing though you have to take a moment to enjoy the "Kynd-ness as all their drinks are garnished so beautifully...you can also find them at Fishcake and follow them on Instagram for their latest location for their delicious and refreshing teas. Thank you!

Guava Princess & Mango Matcha Latte (both yum!)

One of the most refreshing drinks I've ever had! I wish they had their own store front but I'm glad they do a decent amount of pop-ups so that you can easily get your fix. We've tried their Mango Matcha Latte & Guava Princess -- big 10/10! For each of the drinks, the flavors melded together really well while still standing out on its own which I really appreciated! The guy doing everything was really nice too because he gave us a small discount for having to wait a bit which we honestly didn't mind at all. I'm currently trying to plan out my next visit because its all I can think about

@fortunefoodfinds: "I'm KYND of a big deal! A Mango Dreams (mango coulis, sago pearls, coconut milk, mango cream) n' a Mango Matcha Latte from Kynd Tea where they are poppin' up at fishcake in Kaka'ako. This new local business serves up thoughtfully crafted tea n' dessert drinks. All I gotta say is WOW, you need to go check them out now!" Staff: super nice n' friendly Interior: shared space, located right in the front, clean n' modern, has some counter seating n' there is table seating available, cool atmosphere Exterior: looks similar to a warehouse building Wait time: 10 mins Parking: street or a few cars can fit in the open space in front Overall comments: from the presentation, to the service, to the drinks, everything was an A+. The Mango Dreams was like a dessert in drink form n' was really yuMmmy. Loved all the different textures. The Mango Matcha Latte was refreshing n' made to perfection. The sweet mango coulis mixed with the earthy matcha was a great balance of flavors. These delicious drinks were worth every penny n' I can't wait to try out more on their menu!

Kynd did a pop up at Beyond Pastry downtown. Service was quick. I got the Strawberry Matcha for $10. It was the perfect amount of sweetness. I'd definitely get it again and recommend. I didn't like the straw so much. I wish it was a stronger straw because it was a little difficult to mix the strawberry purée.

    Michelle D.

My partner never fails to make my day a little brighter. I've been wanting to try Kynd's tea for the longest time, but with their super limited hours and my work schedule, it just never worked out. Today, he surprised me and got it for me because I'd been seriously craving it -- he's honestly the sweetest! He got the mango sago for himself and picked the matcha mango one for me, and wow... it did not disappoint. So satisfying! The only downside was the long wait, and it's definitely a splurge at $11 for the size -- but totally worth the treat.

A night in Kaka'ako is always a fun place to explore, and just be entertained!…read more The Honolulu Night Market at Our Kaka'ako is indeed a fabulous adventure into the biggest street/block party filled to the brim with all things local...food, retail and culture. I've been to so many and each and every one is very unique where you can find either fashion runway stage, live street art, or even a dance night in the barn. I just love the vibe SALT and surrounding Our Kaka'ako brings with the vibrant art we're so blessed to have and this particular night (November 19th) there was actually much more shopping just perfect for the holidays and the party went further down to Ya-ya's. Tonight I was fortunate to have gone after work so I kept it short but found some awesome treats. Some straw toppers to add to my holiday gift giving and some cheesecake cups (OG, Strawberry and Cookie Butter) of course I got one of each to share...ate the Strawberry which of course omg was yummy!! Not too sweet as the Strawberries was just perfect as I tried to get an even scoop of it all in every bite. Walked further down and honestly wasn't in the mood to wait too long for anything found something that would just exactly work for me. Ya-Ya's Chophouse & Seafood and tonight they had two items - Steak Kebabs - Fat Fried Rice with TAB (aka Thick Ass Bacon lol!) I seriously wanted the fried rice but thought that the Steak Kebabs was more sensible for me personally and it came with two kebabs each fully loaded with steak, mushrooms, peppers and onions with a huge scoop of rice! So many options I really was considering including Henna from Henna Happens, Birria Tacos from Dolce Vita, Corn from Corn Onoz Hawaii but though there's always a next time yes!?! I remember pre-pandemic Yelp had a booth here and hoping as things return to normalcy that we'll see it back again one day (hint hint!) Last week it tasted like it had fish sauce in it with spices and garlic, etc...tonight it literally tastes like bbq seasoning mixed with chipotle seasoning and chili onion. I'm not writing this review to bash this shrimp truck because I think they are very nice but more so as constructive criticism...to hopefully keep their recipe consistent. We knew we were only going to get one hotdog just to try it out. When we were ready to put in our order, I placed it in with the male worker. When I finished putting in my order, the worker had asked me if it would have been just one or two hotdogs. I answered him by saying yes just one. Which he then responded by saying, "what, would he rather have a pho?" Clearly seeing my boyfriend was Asian, that was his question for us just getting one hotdog. He said it as if it was funny. I left it alone and waited for the order. I just don't get the point of him having to say that. He didn't even pronounce "pho" right either, he pronounced it as "foe." As for the hotdog itself, it is good. It is on the pricier side of $11 for one but for the price you get with the bun, polish sausage and toppings, it made it for it.
