I found out about kyucafe for the first time today while searching for a quick caffeine fix. I picked up a caramel latte, americano, a fresh squeezed orange juice, ham croissant, and shiitake mushroom onigiri. I like that the food is housemade - onigiri and caramel latte were my favorites, very flavorful. The cafe is spacious and cute, with a ramen wall and many self served stoves. This place is a little gem. It's remote work friendly, with self-ramyun, good matcha, and healthy AFFORDABLE options (their power bowls are yummm). Gluten friendly, their bowls have no gluten! It's clean, cute, laid back with outlets, a community table, and other 2 seater tables. Please come! We need more places like this, it's so affordable. It's in a good desert, and it's next to a laundromat. Ya'll I did my laundry, while working/eating next door. read more

This place is very cute. they have affordable sandwiches. I love taking extras to go. the banh mi and the house sammy are my favorite. I also enjoy that they sell canned lattes and matcha. they make it in house but if you order it cold they will can them. try getting the matcha with strawberry syrup! the smaller size lattes are 2 shots espresso which is good and the larger are 3 shots. the matcha is good quality! you should come here if you want a relaxing study space. they have extra outlets by the wall seating. The ramen bar looks amazing. I've yet to try it. it is plan to use it next time! Service is really great here. Staff are kind and respectful. They also sell breakfast burritos here ! read more

An exceptional, independent cafe with the best fruit matcha around. They make their matcha's with cheong, making it just the right level of sweetness and a higher concentration of fruit flavor. It beats other fruit matcha's that use a syrup, flavored powder, or even a compote. The staff is always so friendly here as well. They also bring your order to your table, even if they don't have to. They've recently upped their food menu, which now includes a larger selection of premade refrigerated items (savory and sweet), pastries, rice balls/onigiri, rice bowls, and breakfast burritos. Their ramen selection for their ramen bar is also pretty diverse. You shouldn't have a problem with seating. They have multiple tables, and one large long table. In terms of outlets, I've only found two. I'm not sure if the long table has any underneath it. I love this place and you should come if you support independent cafes and tea shops! read more

Soft opening! Came by for lunch. Grabbed a sandwich and fresh squeeze orange juice in a CAN (how awesome is that)! Fresh and Healthy. The sandwich ratio was excellent, with plenty of veggies and the right amount of meat. Simple ingredients but delicious nonetheless. Definitely recommend giving this place a try. Everything about kyucafe is great! Although I was able to go twice during my time in LA, I find myself wishing to go back for more. On my first visit, I got the strawberry matcha latte which was amazing: affordable with a great taste- what more can you ask for? I also got ramen, and the male barista was super helpful as I was a little confused by the machine. He even drained the ramen and brought it over to me with a tray, napkins, and utensils. I really felt that he was happy to be there to run this business and help out the cafe goers :) The second time I went I got a regular latte and a blueberry matcha latte- all of them were as good as the first visit. I'll be sure to visit again next time I'm in LA! read more

If you're looking for the BEST strawberry matcha latte in LA, you have to come here!! I've tried 50+ matcha lattes in SoCal and this is my new favorite. You know it's good when they have a fully stocked shelf of Marukyu Koyamaen Ceremonial Matcha Powder (iykyk) & use strawberry syrup with *real* strawberries. It was naturally sweet and the matcha flavor blends so well with the strawberry flavor. Of the 3 drinks we got (vanilla latte, strawberry soda, matcha latte), we liked the matcha the best. Service: amazing and quick! Parking: we found street parking right out front Seating: there are tables on the side for you to sit They didn't have food available on the day we went, but I'll definitely be back to try their ramen bar/rice balls. read more

I don't write yelp reviews but had to for this. Matcha strawberry is one of the best drinks I've had in my whole life no exaggeration. Spicy Tuna rice ball is great . Pastrami sandwich is toasted and holy.. I can't say this enough but try this place out! I bet you will not regret getting these. I'll be coming back for this asap. So damn good. Parking lot is located in the back of the store or there's also 15 min parking in the front. Owners are excellent. read more

This is a lovely family-run cafe with lots of healthy and tasty options. I love coming here because not only is their food healthy and good, but it is affordable!! Which is a very rare find in LA. I truly appreciate having a place like this in the community. They have a variety of healthy lunch options (including vegetarian) such as salads, sandwiches, rice balls, and snacks as well as really good drinks such as the strawberry matcha latte. Everything I've tried is good, but some of my go-tos are the Quinoa salad and the Power Bowl (which is packed with tons of ingredients including quinoa, lots of veggies, and chicken). The great thing about getting lunch here is that it is much quicker than other places, because you can just grab and go the sandwhiches and salads. If you'd like to sit and enjoy your food, the cafe also has tables and seating with a stylish interior. There is some parking in the parking lot behind the cafe and laundromat. I definitely recommend this place. And I heard they also have catering, which I'd like to ask my office to try next time. read more

4.5 stars but rounding up to 5 stars and here's why - Food: They have a cold fridge for ready to go food and a hot glass display for warm foods. I saw they had bulgogi bowls which is really convenient for lunch. Plenty of pastries to pick from. They even serve Shin instant noodle bowls, that's cool! Rice ball - spicy tuna was yummy but tuna to rice portion was thin/little but maybe it was an off day. Rice was on the drier side as well. Fruit bowl - mango, kiwi, green grapes, blueberry, strawberry $5 can't go wrong :) Turkey sandwich - a little lack luster, straight to the point turkey, cheese, lettuce, mustard and mayo on a croissant. I'd recommend adding: cucumber or tomato which would really elevate this. I like that it's convenient tho! Service - two guys I'm assuming the owner and his brother, super kind and accommodating Ambiance - really clean, not many decor maybe bc they're new. Plenty of seating - 2 tables for couples, bar for solo dining and one large table for a group, not to mention 2 outdoor table with umbrellas. Drinks: reasonably priced, they have milk alternatives! Love the can drink concept Vanilla ice latte - the coffee has a burnt taste, I don't prefer it Blueberry matcha latte with oat milk - super yummy but on the sweeter side. I'd recommend asking for less sweet. Orange juice - fresh and super deliciousssss :) Overall review: I can tell this business has a lot of heart and being that it's new there's room for improvement. Worth trying out and is a great place to study or work. I would love to return in the future and see it's growth. Goodluck! read more

one of my favorite cafes in LA - def want to keep it a hidden gem, but i also want them to get the business they deserve. their strawberry matcha is one of the best I've had in LA. My partner loves their vanilla latte and their croissant sandwiches as well. Their chungs (ades) are good too. I've recommended this place to countless people and everyone has been pleasantly surprised. they have soooo many outlets and fast wifi, and while I'm not sure if they have a dedicated parking lot, street parking in this area is actually very easy to find. the owners/workers are super friendly and accommodating, and the cafe itself is very clean, generally quiet, and great to do work in. read more

New cafe in mid city opens early in the morning so good spot for early birds opens at 7:30am. Came across this spot because my friend recommended and glad I got to try it :) I like that this spot offers variety of drinks and sandwiches!!! Also price is so good compared to other locations, sandwiches anywhere from $5-$7 and iced latte at $5. Need to come here more often. Highly recommend this spot. I go to a lot of cafes but this one takes #1. Family owned. The food is great. Any sandwich or bowl. Ingredients looks fresh! The drinks are amazing. I've visited kyucafe a couple of times recently and plan to visit many more times in the future. Kyucafe presents a relaxed yet lively atmosphere to its patrons. The service is fast and friendly, yet you never feel rushed. Kyucafe is well-suited towards grabbing a quick healthy lunch/snack, but it's also well-suited towards lingering in the cafe with your laptop or book for work or leisure while enjoying some of their specialty beverages. For the food options, I have enjoyed the sandwiches. In terms of the drinks, there's high-quality coffee and coffee-based beverages, but on my second visit, I sampled the strawberry matcha latte and was blown away by how it surpassed any matcha latte I had previously tried. The fresh-squeezed orange juice in a can is also delicious. Finally, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the owner Allen. He is almost always there in the cafe ensuring that everything runs smoothly. His dedication to his cafe is apparent. read more

All foods I have tried here are very fresh, and people are always so welcoming. I especially like the strawberry matcha latte, squeezed orange juice, croissant ham sandwich, tuna kimbap, and the chicken salad. The turkey sandwich is great, too, as it has many fresh cut veggies inside, but I would recommend croissant sandwich over it as I just personally like the bread part being croissant better. There are seats inside the cafe, and although I have not eaten inside, it rather looked spacious. read more

Kyucafe is a true hidden comfort gem outside the heart of Ktown. Their vast variety ramen wall includes instant ramen makers. Their freshly squeezed in home juices are the perfect contrast to the spiciness in ramen. They also hold other beverages and traditional fast food korean grabs that makes this cafe feel just like home. I would recommend the blueberry lemonade soda. read more

Saw this while driving by and might as well try it out. Right away the person currently working helped me out with explaining their selection of food and drinks. I got their turkey croissant sandwich and their freshly squeezed orange juice in a can. As I was also leaving the same person helping me out gave me a complimentary fruit platter. During a…read morelazy afternoon after visiting the Pantheon in Rome, we had our first experience with All'Antico after taking a 5 minute walk down the road. They actually had 2 separate locations flanking the pedestrian road, so there were two long lines snaking out in opposite directions. While we were waiting in line, we bumped into a couple from Spain who were also visiting. They gave my wife some personal recommendations, advising we get the blood orange soda with our sandwiches. After getting said sandwiches (the La Paradiso), we nibbled on them while walking to Sant'Ignazio of Loyola Church, which is that cathedral where there's a mirror directed up towards the murals on the ceiling and a huge selfie line. Hot damn were those sandwiches good. The thinly sliced mortadella paired perfectly with that buttery, green pistachio spread. The only challenge for my taste buds was the mild oral trauma I sustained from punching through the crispy bread; your gums started to feel it by the time you devoured your sandwich. But we liked it so much that when we later took the train to Florence, we sought All'Antico again at their original location. I thought that would be my last experience with All'Antico (unless, of course, I came back to Italy). So imagine my surprise when later that year I heard All'Antico had coincidentally opened a branch in Los Angeles, although rather awkwardly situated in Koreantown. Even though we live 30 minutes away, we made the drive immediately. There was no way this remote All'Antico location, thousands of miles from Italy, would live up to the experience I had in Rome earlier that year. But I was mistaken. Not only is the taste spot on, but the bread they serve is actually chewier and removed the gum calisthenics I suffered in Italy. And yes, they also have the blood orange soda as well. It's a little weird their location is in Koreatown, but not a big deal; we'll usually do a bingsu run afterward. Just like their locations in Italy, All'Antico is small but they do have a small collection of bar seats, some of which overlook the staff as they're making your sandwich. Be mentally prepared though to take it to go depending on how busy it is. Parking sucks too; there's street parking only, but if you come on Sunday you don't have to pay. Every so often now, we'll make the 30 minute drive just to relive that slice of Italy we experienced nearly 2 years ago. Thankfully, not a lot of people recognize how good this place is yet, as the lines aren't crazy long like they are in Italy. For all the other Yelpers in on it too, let's keep it our little secret for now.

He goes to freshly cut provolone cheese for the three regular rosemary turkey sandwiches. The giant white is something with bacon no cheese. He puts the provolone away and gets PRE-CUT provolone for my sandwich. I ask him why don't I get freshly cut provolone but he states, "Because it will be faster." I ask him why didn't he use pre-cut cheese for the other sandwiches, but he has no response other than "because it will be faster." Jersey Mike doesn't always use freshly cut meats or cheese. Even if you are there watching what they do they will try to screw you. The phone/internet orders weren't there watching but what do you think a person who walks in to order is going to do? ZERO stars.

With the high concentration of the best restaurants and cafes in LA, this cafe needs to step up if they want to compete and survive. Lastly, Yelp has this place listed as closing at 11pm, but they kicked us out at 10pm.
