Our 2nd time was not as good as our first. The impact was with the service. My husband had a question about 2 different soups and the waiter gave us a one word answer. I had to assist him using the menu to get the answer we were looking for. We placed our drink and food order at the same due to the wait for the waiter to come over initially. We waited an additional 15 minutes to receive our drinks (water). Another waitress actually came over as she saw that we had nothing on our table. Waiter never asked about spicy-ness level and I realized after we received our food. I got the same pho (curry) but I think last time it tasted better. The #1 Tokyo Tonkotsu is light. The #2 Katsuobushi is strong and they charged us a $1 more for black garlic.

Instagram worthy spot near UCF campus. Kyuramen x Tbaar is worth stopping by not just for comfort Ramen. This place is visually appealing with Hexagon seating booths that are cozy, romantic and focal point . The wishing tree with hand written notes adds sentimental and a bit of playful touch. The amber lights go well with the wood creating a calm atmosphere. Loved the semi-private wood houses that are perfect for date night. Staff was absolutely amazing. Our waitress Kayla was very helpful answered all our questions and provided great recommendations to our group. Our favorite was the Yinyang Ramen half spicy on one side and we also enjoyed the braised shortrib ramen. Broth was flavorful and hearty not overly salty. The ribs were good but a bit tough and not as tender as I expected. They also have bubble tea and refreshing fruit drinks. A true whimsical and instagram worthy experience to enjoy along with some comfort yumny Ramen.

What a great place for ramen and other Japanese eats! This cute corner delivers a masterpiece of flavors that keeps us coming back. The tonkotsu with black garlic option is an all-time fave. The pork broth is so rich. The classic omurice is an experience - you can ask them to be light on the sauce as it can get a bit salty to some. Our family tried a little bit of everything yet there's so much more to try for our next visit. Our server Kayla is super helpful especially with the new added menu items. She is so considerate. She helped pack our leftovers which was such a nice touch. Make sure to give her some love!

I've seen this place all over TikTok! My friends and I were in the area and finally decided to check it out. The honeycomb seating is popular so you might have to wait if you wanna sit there, same goes for the private booths. I love the whole aesthetic of this restaurant. They gave us an Ema to write a wish on and hang on the tree which was really cool. Our server was really nice and helped recommend some good dishes. I really enjoyed my Ramen, the Katsuobushi Pork Ramen. The pork was tender and the flavor of the broth was good. I also liked the noodles. However the Chicken ramen I feel like was lacking in flavor. The Omurice was okay but not much flavor just all one note from the Demi glaze, I wouldn't order it again. I liked the variety of the honeycomb platter but I don't know if I would order it again. The matcha pudding was pretty good! If I come here again, I'd like to try more of their different Ramens! Hopefully next time I can sit in one of the honeycomb booths!

Pros- good atmosphere, nice workers, yummy omurice. Cons- terrible rice burger. Greasy and falls apart. The honeycomb platter was good in taste too but not worth the price tag. Overall- I'd go again if I was passing by but I wouldn't make a trip out of it.

I ordered Kyuramen via Uber Eats and was not disappointed! Sometimes when I order ramen from other places it is room temp when it arrives, and I have to reheat, but not Kyuramen. I was able to enjoy it right away. I went with the tonkotsu shoyu ramen and it was the best of both worlds. I'm not a ramen expert, but I believe this was the traditional tonkotsu broth, with the typical shoyu ingredients, which is my favorite combo! I also ordered the popcorn chicken to try, mine was a little overdone, don't know if I'd get it again, but I will definitely be back for more of their ramen!

I got impressed by this restaurant. The decorations inside are beautiful and they have seats with private sections, open tables and also an area that you seat in a elevation. The service was amazing, the staff is very friendly. I tried the pork tonkatsu omurice combo. The presentation, the flavor and the size was great. It was delicious! I also tried the amazing lemonade, which was amazing! Im definitely going back for more!

Great experience! Empty when people were in school im guessing- we sat in the honeycomb seating and it was so fun. 15.99 lunch combo for ramen and a side of either dumplings, takoyaki or eggrolls. Really great deal and yummy food!

Kyuramen was highly recommended by my friends. We went for lunch and took advantage of the special where you get an app and ramen for 15.99. I chose the veggie ramen and I picked takoyaki as my appetizer. I thought the takoyaki was great, freshly made. The ramen however wasn't really anything to write home about in my mind. maybe its cause it was the veggie ramen, but it was just ok. It was also more salty than I would have liked, like I got a headache afterwards salty. I don't know. There're so many great ramen places popping up now, don't know if I'd return.

It was lunch time and I had a craving for ramen. Kyuramen was close by and had 4+ stars so I figured, lets do it! This place is super cute! Not until I was there did I realize it has a lot of traffic from TikTok videos and IG reels (and it's for good reason). 1) the aesthetic is exactly what social media foodies want to showcase in their videos. You can tell a lot went in to the design process which includes things like honeycomb seating, lanterns, a wishing tree, and privacy booths. 2) the food and service did not disappoint. I was immediately greeted by a friendly employee who led me to a booth that had a curtain for privacy. There are buttons on the wall that you can press for service or when you're ready to pay. I didn't even have to press the button before my server arrived with water and asked to take my drink order and offered to help if I had any questions about the menu. The wifi info was on a small sign on the wall inside the booth. I was given 3 different menus: one featured the lunch special, another was drinks, and the regular food menu. My order consisted of passion fruit tea and Kyushu spicy tonkatsu ramen. The tea had a generous amount of passion fruit pieces in it. It was delightful and sweet. The ramen broth was rich and flavorful. It came with pork, corn, bamboo shoots, nori, half a marinated egg. My server was extremely attentive and sweet. Overall excellent experience!

Our first experience at this Kyuramen was a little annoying due to a server, but we understand that being attentive takes practice. The second time we went, the service was much better. My husband even won some free appetizer wings since he finished his Ramen and it was a lucky bowl! Its worth it to get the combo with the Thai tea and bun because its the perfect balance. We first tried this spot in NYC and were surprised to see Central FL also had a location! Hopefully they open another one closer to Winter Haven so we can visit again soon. The ambiance was the same, Japanese meets modern. I got the Tonkatsu Ramen combo with the pork belly bun and Thai tea. Yum!

The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and located conveniently close to UCF and two major highways, 417 and 408. Expect lots of food as the portions are quite large so come hungry. Excellent flavor and atmosphere.

Came here one day for lunch. Saw some great stuff on social media, so my interest was peaked. And then it got an honorary award in a local periodical I read, and I was sold. So we popped in with empty stomachs and went to work. Ambiance was out of bounds, man. Lanterns everywhere, paper walls, bamboo looking stuff, it was very reminiscent of Japan, which I was lucky enough to visit last March. We got seated on a private little booth with curtains for privacy, very fun. Spices are on the table with cute little spoons. And if you need anything, there are buttons on the wall that call your server over to you. Very neat. Service was also great. Very nice folks who do a really good job at the omurice presentation. As for the food, it's complicated. The menu items are diverse, varied, and different from your run-of-the-mill Japanese restaurant. The items would probably be five stars to someone who's never had them before, but compared to the gold standard, they were pretty ok. Not to knock anything they're doing here. I'm glad they're doing it. I started off with a classic Thai Iced Tea. It was sweet, it had a little bite, it was served in a branded, trendy little glass cup. Very good. We opened up with the Honeycomb Platter (Chilli Garlic Edamame, Lobster & Chashu Salad Ball, Tamago Egg, Shrimp Tempura, Eel Unagi, Scallops, Seaweed Salad). Edamame, good. Tamago egg was a lot of fun. Another brand upon it. This place markets so well. Delicious eel. Fun little scallops with that amazing sauce on them. These are all over Japan, and I ate about 2,000 of them. One of the main events we had was the Tonkatsu Omurice (Fluffy omelet egg and Pork Tonkatsu on top of chicken fried rice, topped with your choice of Curry Sauce or Demi Glace). This was wow, so fun. Perfect texture to the egg, cooked juuust enough, slathered in that amazing curry sauce. Rice was ok, but it was definitely needed here. I really recommend this dish. Another app we ordered was the Yakitori Platter (Negima (Chicken Thigh w. Leek), Gyu Harami (Beef Skirt), Butabara (Pork Belly), Baby Scallop and Zucchini). Everything was good here. This was a five star dish. Please get this. Especially those scallops. So good. We felt frisky, so we ordered a couple more items, including the Eel Avocado Rice Burger (Eel, Cucumber, Avocado, Eel Sauce). This was a lot of style, but not a lot of substance. The rice was not a good vehicle for the eels and avocado, slipping sliding everywhere. And it was just so bland. The eel was good, though. I will eat pounds of this eel. We had just a little more room, so we finished off with the Okonomiyaki (Japanese Style pan-fried pancake topped with okonomiyaki sauce, mayonnaise, bonito flakes (katsuobushi), dried green seaweed (aonori)). This was not a good okonomiyaki. I recommend you skip this. Overall, I was very happy with my visit here. Some things can definitely be improved, but some things are definitely perfect. I will come back after my requisite five year waiting period and see how they are coming along.

Ask the Community - Kyuramen x TBaar- UCF

Can they accommodate a large ish group, like about 7 people?

Absolutely they can, just not inside the smaller private booths. But they have room on the floor. I would call ahead though to make sure they set it up for you as they can get busy.

Do they accommodate for allergies/dietary restrictions?

Yes!! Totally customizable and there are extras on the side of the menu if you'd like something smaller or a variety of items.

Can reservations be made online? via phone?

    No reservations.

That said, I would definitely come back to try other items on the menu, as there are so many options to choose from. Our server, Carl, was very friendly and attentive.
