As our long time agency, we have insurance on our home, auto, rental properties, and umbrella policies through them. In some cases there are additional discounts we can get because of having both home and auto with them. When we had a serious house fire ten years ago resulting in a total loss, Nationwide immediately came out and gave us a check to help with our immediate needs. Then they worked with us to put together and submit the claim. We felt that they were very fair with us as they helped us though what was a rather traumatic time. We had a life insurance policy with the Kaplan Agency and Jeff told us he thought we could get a better deal outside of Nationwide, and we did.
