My first time here and loved it! I saw this place while at I was at Plaza Bonita one time and decided to try it out. They stay open until 9pm which is much later than usual nail salons so o was able to come in after work on a weekday. Long did my nails and he did an amazing job! I asked for a pearl color and he was able to make it happen! My picture doesn't show the iridescent layer but it's there! And I love it! I wish I was lying when I said this was the worst set of acrylics I have ever gotten. I went in asking for a coffin shape, French ombré with white glitter. I came out with SO many things wrong with my nails. None of them are the same shape or length, my thumbs aren't in the slightest of looking the same or even similar, and my whole set isn't blended at all. Some of the nails start way too far onto my nail and some too close to my cuticle. They look overall sloppy and I am so embarrassed to have these on. The lady who did them seemed inconvenienced when I came in, and if I weren't busy that day I would have sat in the chair for another two hours and gotten them fixed right then and there. read more

Outstanding nail salon! This will be my go to from now on here in San Diego area. The lady who did my nails was so accommodating and friendly. She really went above and beyond for my first visit here. I wasn't sure what kind of ombré color nails to do and she took the time to sample the 3 different colors they offered. She did my nails exactly how I wanted them to be a natural ombré coffin shape which I ended up loving so much. Can't wait to come here again specially with her! read more

I came here as a quick easy place for a walk in mani-pedi.. I came in with a previous French manicure which had a chip at the middle finger, which could've easily been filed, but nope it's a very harsh cut. One thing I noticed during them both, they didn't utilize acetone to remove any of the previous polish, which I know that damages the nails by just utilizing the drill. By removing my manicure with only the drill a lot of the previous coat was left over. Which I mentioned to the technician and she just filed down the edges of the old polish because it was very noticeable to which she was very certain that my nail was completely broken in that area which is my French had a gap which wouldn't make sense because it's on my nail bed. My overall manicure is super clumpy because the base coat wasn't removed. To end the manicure she put cuticle oil on my arms as a massage. all and all I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

They cut me several times and continued to buff and file where they had cut me! I felt like they were doing it on purpose. If you don't want to work then leave! This is a place that offers a unique product that fully exfoliates the skin. They have a huge variety of services and products to choose from, and it is obvious that the techs are all experienced and strive to provide the best service. I first came to this salon on July 5th for a full set and pedicure for my wedding July 6th. The job was done well, but was not 100% impressed with the work the original gal did. Two weeks later, I came back for a fill, and was completely blown away by the work that Long did on my fill. It is common for someone doing your nails to leave that "bubble" shape to your nails, but Long made sure to reshape my acrylic so that it was more natural to my nail bed shape. He was incredibly fast! Typically a quick fill is going to result in errors and lopsided shapes.. my coffin shape came out perfect, compared to the original shape I got on my first set. PAINFUL!! I went with someone to get our nails done. The lady who did our nails was so mean! She asked me first what I want(mean tone, eyebrows up) Did not even say Hi, or how are you? That part was ok, until...she did my nails, it was really painful! The way she uses her tools, it was like stabbing your nails! Her nail was digging against my finger. I went to this place, like two days ago. Got my eye brows done had them done before at other places. But, since I was at the mall killing time and wanted to have my eye brows done. Haven't had my eyebrows done in a while. Next day, I noticed a small allergic reaction and then later on that day my allergic reaction got a lot more worse. I had to go to the hospital that day. I don't know if they're using a cheap cheap wax or not sanitize their things but I would NOT recommend going to this place at all. Terrible service as well. where do i start. My nails are very uneven and slanted, splotchy and with the polish not covering the entire nail. I left with nail polish on the skin surrounding my fingernail. To top it off the woman doing my nails cut me TWICE. I understand mistakes happen, but as she's swabbing up my blood she doesn't even apologize at any point. Had the European pedicure tonight. I'm 7 months pregnant and cant reach my toes very well, so I figured I'd treat myself to a pedi. The lady was quiet, but friendly. During the cuticle clipping, I noticed she was getting really close where it was starting to hurt. Then she cut me and didn't say anything. She wiped my cut with the same brush she used to clean polish from my nail edges. I stopped and asked if the brush was clean, and she pointed to a small container of I don't know what and nodded yes. I then asked if she could fix my polish as it didnt even cover my entire toe nail. There was a good 1/8in missing on one edge and the others looked incomplete as well. I didnt even bother with those as I just wanted to get Neosporin on my cut as quick as possible ( which I did at home). I hope I didnt just pay $30 for a staph infection. read more

Never have I ever been so sad about getting my nails done!! I recently moved down to the area and was(am) in search of a nail salon. This salon is conveniently located inside the Plaza Bonita mall so I thought I'd give it a chance. My friend accompanied me, because I owed her a mani pedi any, and since we were already in the mall we decided to stop by in this place. Upon arriving, I noticed there is no pricing signage anywhere. I assumed (never again!) that my gel full set would be about $30-$35 as it usually is in other salons. And my pedicure would be about $20. HUGE MISTAKE! My friend and I were sat down right away in the pedicure chairs and waited both about 10 minutes before they started on us. They were extremely busy, so the wait wasn't bad at. Ana did my pedicure, while some guy whose name I did not catch, started my nails. Ana was very polite and went straight to business. I noticed these ladies working don't talk much! Even to eachother. Personally, I prefer a little chit chat between me and my manicurist because I'd want to build a relationship in hopes of coming back. Anyway, Ana did a fair job! The pedicure I chose was the callus and sea salt treatment. I've never seen anyone offer that service for More then $21 and here they charge $30!! Ridiculous!! But since I really wanted it I got it. I feel like she could've done a better job at removing my callus' because my feet didn't feel as soft as they usually do after a pedi. At the end of my pedi, I noticed my toes looked unevenly cut and crooked. I was disappointed! While getting my pedicure done, the gentleman doing my hands seemed very young and amateur at this. He didn't file my nails the way I'd expect. And he cut me twice while using the machine to buff them. He also failed to mention that they charge for shaping your nails!! Really?!? And getting gel on my nails was even more than I had originally thought. Ugh! Here comes the sad part of my trip...I thought my nails looked horrendous! They were thick, uneven, & just plain ugly!! I had asked his opinion of two colors I picked out to see if it'd bad a good combo and what he recommend sounded way better than what he ended up doing. My ring fingers were baby blue (as planned) but the rest of fingers were a hot mess to me. The color I originally picked out was a brown shiny color with a baby blue contrast to it! Which I thought was super cool and hence why I asked if the combo I wanted would match. When he started painting my nails black, I wanted to cry. I corrected him twice and my nails were still so ugly!! :( in the end my nails ended up being black with splatter baby blue on it and my ring fingers baby blue. (Posted an imagine!) I absolutely hated it. I wanted to cry!!! While getting my hands and feet done at the same time, I also had my eyebrows waxed. I didn't see her pull out a clean stick or strips which worried me a lot but nevertheless my dumb ass let her wax my eyebrows. She thinned them out a lot! :( All in all, my total was $165 for 2 pedi's 2 mani's and an eyebrow wax. I think everything is WAAAY over priced. And i should've listened to the Yelp reviews about this place!! Stay away. Go up the street to the salon next to Starbucks. When leaving I stared at my nails and wanted to cry and cry and cry. They were soooo ugly!!! I shouldn't have paid for them. My husband didn't like them and neither did my family. I mean, the one upside to this place is how convenient the location is. It's in the mall if you need to shop and pick up a few things or grab a bite to eat after getting your nails done. I have been here once for a pedicure and just recently for a manicure. Of course they try to get you to do both, but that's typical. The service is kind of meh but I don't have any real complaints. I got a regular manicure and my nails look good for the most part but I do see a couple flaws (albeit less obvious ones). Some workers are friendly and others just want to get their job done. The price was $13 and I guess they charge you the same regardless of whether you get your nails painted or not, since my friend just opted for the manicure and no paint. That doesn't seem right to me, but it is what it is. They don't use a nail dryer for regular manicure either, just a quick dry top coat and the lamp at the table. Overall it can get busy here given the location so this has an adverse affect on the service offered. The gal did mine pretty quickly. If you're in a rush or just need to come here for the convenience of it then it's not the worst place to get your nails did. read more

Extremely poor customer service. I've been a customer for more than 3 years and last time i came my nails didn't last a week which was not the nail techs fault! we love her. I believe the product they use to help the product stick was either old or had run out (my assumption). I came back to see if any solution was possible and got very rude feedback from the male receptionist here, completely did not want to try coming to terms even though i had a positive attitude towards the situation. Could have simply shown me the no refund policy instead of being rude and i would have understood completely but unfortunately that wasn't the case. They ended up being "nice" out of frustration and giving me a free refill next time i came and when i came it was completely disrespectful and uncomfortable.
