The nail tech took her time and made sure my nails were perfect. You will pay slightly more here than some salons, but the atmosphere is very cute and peaceful and the salon is clean. The tools were fresh and clean, coming out of a sealed package right in front of me! (Which I've noticed nail salons in Paris not being nearly as clean generally as they are in the US) The only downside was that I could tell the nail files and buffers were not new, but used on multiply clients. I'm not sure what the laws are in France, but this practice doesn't seem super clean. Overall, a lovely experience! The best nail salon experience I've had so far here.

When it was time for dinner we found Le Central and were in for a treat. It was our goal to sample authentic Beef Bourguignon and Escargots in Paris. They did not disappoint .. In fact, we sampled Beef Bourguignon and Escargots twice (again on our return home visit) and Le Central was AMAZING. The staff was kind, helpful, and even generous. The Beef Bourguignon was rich and flavorful. Served over a bed of creamy mashed potatoes the 'sauce' was just fabulous and the beef melted in our mouths. We want more.. and more. I would love to get their recipe to try here at home. The Escargots were very good, buttery and garlicky and also melted in our mouths. The second location we tried the BB was not even close to that of Le Central.. Highly recommend!! Oh, the Creme Brûlée was also fabulous.
