Good food and good service. We enjoyed the spam masubi, kastu chicken, bbq chicken, plenty of macaroni salad and rice.

Our server took great care with us and checked on us frequently, which was very much appreciated. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. Just know that inside seating is dimly lit. Seating is "family-style" so be ready to sit with some new friends you meet. While I did not try any of the drinks or food, those I was with stated a great "foodie" and drink experience. Certain drinks come served in super fun tiki glasses! The drinks were extremely well priced for Boulder! I look forward to going back and giving the food and drink a try. Shout out to Jungle for doing a great job supporting Rocky Mountain Equality during Pride Month. 100% of profits from the Boulder Pride Cocktail menu go to this organization. Awesome!

I've been here a few times over the last couple years, and it's become a go-to for me in the area. I'm a sucker for a good Mai Tai. And boy oh boy, they make a great one here. Definitely ones of the standouts on the classic cocktail menu. Flip the menu around and you'll find unique original drinks. For the classics, stick with Mai Tai, Jungle Bird, Saturn, or Piña Colada. We came here after an event where there was appetizers, so we didn't want to commit to entrées. Jungle has a nice selection of tropical appetizers, burgers, chicken tenders, fish tacos, etc. This was my first time eating here. We ordered the ceviche and nachos. Ceviche was very sweet due to the passion fruit (actually way too sweet) but I appreciated the execution of the shrimp, lime, and other ingredients. The nachos were solid with a white queso. A fancier/island take on a bar staple. Wouldn't run back for either personally, just my preference! We sat on the patio and service was prompt and friendly. I would like to sit inside one day, keep in mind close to half the seating is outside the actual bar. But on a beautiful night in Boulder, it's a great place to be. Definitely recommend Jungle. It's not one of those overly pretentious tiki bars. It has a nice neighborhood bar feel, albeit their talent behind the stick. Check them out!

Tell me why they don't have edamame, crispy tempura, crispy onions, like without crispy things u might as well order some mash potato slop because it's gonna be squishy as hell. Also the way they cut their cucumbers don't expect small crispy bites it's soggy too. Their sauces are bomb I respect the sauce but dam they are never fully stocked it's a shame. Every time I try to order food from here they're missing ingredients last time it was literal salmon I legit had to tell my man to walk out of the store I was so frustrated and am very hangry now lol idk where to get good poke someone please help me!!!! PS went to Rocky fin it was also TERRIBLE the public needs to know the truth about these places and the quality and consistency of ingredients. I understand supply chain issues but not having edamame for a poke bowl restaurant is insane go to a grocery store at least for ur product, my managers would go to Whole Foods when we ran out of product and did mark outs maybe u should try that

Not pictured, we also ordered the duck soba noodles and the scallops. Everything tasted delicious. I would have preferred the hamachi to come with a bit of rice on the side but my boyfriend didn't mind the salad. It's a great date spot and if we were to sit inside there's options for Japanese style floor seating. When you go inside they ask you to take off your shoes and provide slippers for the restroom. Izakaya's are Japanese bars that have quick bites and snacks to choose from. I was excited to see we were heading in. Once arrived on Sunday night we were greeted and welcomed. Asked if we would like to take our shoes off and walk in as in Japanese culture this is very common. It really felt like I was in a Japanese izakaya in Japan We ordered - Tofu Steak - Baked Salmon w/ ikura & rice - Duck Skewers - Salmon Carpaccio Everything was delicious and cooked well. I could have ate 2 bowls of the salmon. Everything is nicely sized but a good size to not get too full to order more. This location is combined with another sushi restaurant and it's cool to see the sushi being made in front of you. Will be back!!

The food was fantastic. I don't remember what we got that time but it was memorable enough that we said we should go there for drinks and dinner. So a few months ago, not really craving anything particular and fresh off a hike but starving we decided to give it a try. Blown away. Food was exceptional. I got the salmon which is basically ordering fancy chicken at a restaurant. It was delicious. And the risotto was absolutely incredible. Service was great. When we asked what the server recommended he didn't give us a run around and say "well everything is good". He gave concrete recommendations and nailed it. Great place to go especially with family. When you first walk in, there are two kiosks where you can place your order and you may walk up to the cash register and order with a live person. We chose to order at the register and the employee was very friendly and explained the whole Motomaki process, which we appreciated. The process on how-it-works is located on the wall, but we both prefer in-person customer service. We ordered three rolls and one fountain drink for a total of $57 with tax.... I thought that was high for what we got. The service was fast and the ingredients were fresh. I'm glad I got the sauce on the side. My husband didn't care for the rolls because he said the seaweed was too fishy and he described them as "seaweed burritos". The rolls fell apart after we took off the aluminum foil. Also, just an FYI: three rolls were too many and we both would have been fine with one each but now we know for next time. Overall, I thought the food tasted good, the service was great, the price was high, and we would opt for bowls next time.

I appreciate the options for greens, white rice, brown rice, or a combo for the base. I loved the crispy eggplant, especially dipped in the jalapeño aioli. The salmon poke was cut and flavored well. The toppings tasted fresh and added a great texture to the bowl. I loved the addition of asparagus, which I don't often see in poke bowls. The happy hour $3 off from 2-5 p.m. is a great deal and brought my filling bowl down to $15.75. My order wasn't accurate -- I had to go up to the counter to ask for missing items that I had paid to add (edamame and a side of jalapeño aioli), but I was given them without a fuss. Everything was delicious and portion sizes were generous. I'd love to come back next time I'm in the area.
