My daughter is no stranger when it comes to photo shoots. She's worked with dozens of photographers on the West Coast. We recently have relocated to Georgia, and she needed updated head shots. Our first experience with a photographer out here was not the best. The photographer was rushed and didn't seem to be someone that had experience with children and was very short tempered , and as a result, we didn't get one photo that I could say I even kind of liked , she left the shoot crying. When I first reached out to Sylvia via Instagram, she responded to my message within a few hours. Her process and instructions were easy to comprehend and digest. I recently traveled 5.5 hours to take my son to see Sylvia for updated headshots and it was well worth the drive! She was very warm and welcoming. From the very first time I contacted her up until and even after the shoot! She was very professional and helpful, she helped me pick a new look for him as well. She took a lot of really great pics which made it hard to choose only 10. She also gave him great direction to help capture his true personality in his pics. My son had a great time and felt REALLY comfortable lol, he had so much fun. She let him play with toys and even played with him during the the shoot and made him laugh. We loved Sylvia, start to finish! I booked a mommy and me session with my three boys. She offered help prior to the session when I couldn't decide which shirts the boys should wear. She was so welcoming when we arrived and immediately had all the boys excited to be there (they dread photo sessions normally) by pulling out toys for them to use when it wasn't their turn to be in the picture. She laughed with them, tickled them, made funny noises for them... anything to get a laugh, and it worked! This photographer is amazing. When I got pregnant the one thing I dreaded was getting pictures taken, but I know its a memory you want to have. I am not photogenic, I'm fat, and I just didn't feel pretty. When I tell you she made the experience superb for me. She made the session SO MUCH FUN, and after editing the pictures, I fell in love with them so much that I have two big canvas' up in my house of my husband and I.
