    Burrata with grilled vegetables.

L'Angolo del Gusto is an adorable and intimate restaurant in Anacapri. The servers were wonderfully warm, and showed no hesitation when we explained we were vegetarian and offered up suggestions on what they could make for us. We started with the burrate with grilled vegetables (yum) and enjoyed an off menu fettuccine (delicious). The pasta was ever so slightly al dente, and the sauce was cheesy and creamy. The ravioli with red sauce was tasty but needed a bit of salt and pepper to bring out the flavors. The pièce de résistance was the tiramisu - oh my wow. Make sure you keep room for it, because it was so good! The lady fingers were soaked just right, but not too moist, and they didn't over powder it with coffee or chocolate. The mascarpone cheese was so lightly and fluffy. We were literally scrapping the inside of the bowl for the last bite! The restaurant is a little pricey, but since we were on our honeymoon, we were glad to treat ourselves to something nice.

L'Angolo is strategically located next to the Church in Anacapri. It's a small restaurant with cute ambiance and friendly owner who owns a cute little dog named Prince. The food was great, my wife had the Capri Salad and I had spaghetti with meatballs. Will definitely come again when I'm back to Capri. Ciao

Had the most wonderful time at this family owned restaurant. They made you feel like you were part of their family. The food was excellent, we ate there three night while we were in Capri ---- had a wonderful time would love to return.

Was recommended to come here from our B&B host and were happy we did! Great staff - young gentleman that was waiting on us was informative and kind with our English/Italian attempts haha. Food was wonderful - smaller portions than most in Italy but pretty typical in any other country. Seats outside for a great atmosphere and view of the square with beautiful lighting once the sun set.

cute family restaurant that serves good, unpretentious south italian fare. Servers were warm and the food was simple and good. We ordered whitebait fritters, octopus salad, mixed salad, Lamb, Rabbit, and a spaghetti with tomato and basil. I asked for chilli flakes on the side and added a fair bit- and it was one of the best pastas i've eaten in italy!

Small intimate restaurant with great service. We arrived at 7:20pm and It was slightly before they opened for dinner service, but they let us sat down anyway. Servers were attentive, which made up for lack of a sea view. We had grilled meatballs, spaghetti with tomato sauce and the seafood risotto which was cooked al Dante and perfectly. Would come back again!

This place was so delicious! My friend and I walked around looking for a place to eat and stumbled onto this place. We were warmly welcomed and they sat us down right away and gave us recommendations. The owner was so amazing, it was my friend's birthday and I asked if they had any candles for the cake we ordered and I saw him looking around near the back and then he walked over to a store across the street and came back with a candle--they're all so nice! The food was great and the dessert (lemon almond cake) was delicious! They finish off dinner with a complimentary lemoncelli (an alcoholic beverage that is from Capri) but we skipped that this time. Would definitely recommend trying this place out!

My husband selected this restaurant while we were vacationing in Capri. The sat on the patio, we had impeccable service. The food was absolutely amazing, the wine and service was too. The best part was being able to sit outside enjoying this amazing food, watching residents smoke, enjoying cocktails with friends, kids running around happily. This restaurant is clean, quaint and definitely will clean me back again. stars for sure.

A welcoming and hospitable restaurant, owned and operated by one local family. Amazing mozzarella in the caprese salad. Best parmigiana we ever had. Good gnocchi. Risotto was a bit uninspiring. Neat quiet alley seating by a church yard.

My girlfriend and I ate here for lunch. We ordered lasagna and bruschetta. The lasagna was good and flavorful; however I wish it was meatier. The bruschetta was not good. The bread was burnt and the tomatoes were not flavorful. They charge €3 for water and €2 per person for cover. Would not return to this place.

We arrived in Anacapri so late and everything else was closed...thank goodness, because our host walked us to this restaurant since he knows the family. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming! Almost like we were family!! I felt myself get a little choked up as this was exactly the type of place I've been dreaming of since planning my Italy vacation with my awesome hubby. It's so beautiful and romantic inside! We ordered the Caprese salad, the gnocchi and the risitto pescatore. My husband doesn't normally like cheese, or mussels but we both loved everything!! Oh I forgot to mention...it's attached to this beautiful church. (see my pics). And the other reviewer who complained about the 2 euro per person must not realize that this is how it works in Italy, there's a charge to sit in, it's considered their built in tip.

    Amazing pasta and lobster!!

On the other hand, if you come here with the intention of experiencing a real Italian dinner with someone you love, you really can't beat the wine selection, ambiance, meal options, service and so on. We started with the Tuna Tartar and a dozen oysters, paired with a bottle of white wine. We had the lemon spaghetti, lamb shanks, dessert bar and limoncello. Everything was excellent. Our server was also a great guy who had been dating a girl from Los Angeles, which made for fun conversation. The hostesses took photos of us and the tables next to us were also great people having the time of their lives. Highly recommend if you know what you are doing. If not there are plenty of tourist traps at the marina to choose from.

The only place you need to dine at in Capri, I don't know if there is any other place that could top this experience.

We even saw him take a bite of the communal Parmesan cheese with the spoon from the dish (and the mother returned it to the bowl) which prompted us to not use the Parmesan. The pizzas were hot and fresh, we ordered the Davola and salsiccia e friarielii. Both were delicious but in the end, we love a tomato based pizza the best and should not have wavered. A glass of house wine was surprisingly reasonable at just 5 euro and was a standardly nice, juicy, easy to drink red. The bread was incredibly delicious. The smokiness from the wood oven made it possibly the most delicious bread I can remember eating. No butter. No olive oil. Just delicious. We would have loved to have tried a few of the pasta dishes that looked delicious, so our recommendation for a couple is to get a pizza and a pasta and share them. The salads also looked fresh and large. As many places in Italy, there a fee to sit at the restaurant and be served. 8 euro for both of us. The next day when waiting for our ferry ride, we popped into a pizzeria and grabbed another pizza diavola to go...what a let down. The pizza at buca di bacco was within a euro or two in price and 100% better. If you haven't had a good pizza in Italy and find yourself in Capri, at least grab one or two of their pizzas to go and eat them near the ocean overlook. Don't forget the chili flakes You will be quite content.
