A very pleasant neighborhood bistro with a relaxed, friendly feel. It seemed like the kind of place where people come both for dinner and just to spend time.
The menu shifts of course. The evening I dined I had œufs parfaits, gorgonzola and pancetta risotto, and caramel mille-feuille. The egg dish was subtle and nicely done, the risotto was hearty and genuinely satisfying, and the mille-feuille was light, crisp, and an excellent finish. A very full meal.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The menu was in French only, but the place was still welcoming to an English speaker.
A relaxed, unpretentious, very enjoyable meal. If I were in the neighborhood again, I'd happily come back--and honestly, I'd even go a bit out of the way for it. read more
