The beers is one of those trendy places, with good vibes, staffed as well with young people who could converse in English - however they don't have much of craft beer ( special beer ) here. Some from the neighbouring Belgium is here, and they have Brewdog beers but the rest are probably the familiar names, apart from the mainstream pilsner that they are probably proud not to have in here. My colleagues and I stumbled upon The Smoking Dog and couldn't pass up giving it a try. What a fun place. The interior is just very cool. Got that classic but quirky combination that makes for a great pub. There was a soccer game going on and the patrons were very very into it. That added to the fun atmosphere. The beers are extremely cheap in comparison to most places in Lyon where you automatically pay 7 € for a pint of Leffe. It's in the trendy beer garden style with large tables to share. In addition to burgers, they also serve various salads which also looked amazing. If they would add some kielbasa and knockwurst sausages, it would add some authentic beer garden flavor. Hint Hint! Oh and I almost forgot, considering I had no room to try any, but the artisanal ice cream looks yummy. Maybe next time I will order a salad so there is room for dessert!

Most bottles are large 750ml, but there are also a few 330ml choices. The beers are not cheap, but this is a great example of "you get what you pay for." Yes, there is great beer in France!
