The months leading up to the wedding were the most stressful, and Teresa was always so kind, helpful, and organized. She made sure all my vendors were ready to go, and was always very responsive to my emails, calls, or texts. But the day of, was where she really shined. She was on-top of her game making sure everything ran perfectly, checking in with me when things were running behind schedule, and remembering the smallest details. Not only is she very good at her job, but her bubbly personality made me feel happy and at ease. Since I am a perfectionist who did a lot of the pre-wedding planning, this is saying a lot! I felt comfortable letting go and enjoying the moment, knowing that Teresa had it handled. Many of my guests that work in the industry also commented on what a great job Teresa did. Thank you Teresa for making our wedding day so perfect! It was everything I imagined and more! Below is one of my favorite photos from our wedding that Teresa took!

Lina stepped up for us and helped put together a FANTASTIC party. She transformed a businesslike boardroom into a magical place for a ceremony. She provided the tables, chairs, curtains, most of the decorations, and did the floral pieces as well. She coordinated with our vendors and helped make the ceremony and luncheon one that my parents and their guests will remember forever. In addition to all the setup and coordination, she suggested a photo booth that would print out photos right there that all our guests enjoyed. We could not have done it without her and would gladly recommend her to anyone.

Once we eventually got our photos back we could see just how badly she had done. She used fake flowers when we paid for real, used the literal cheapest decor everywhere possible. We were sold a dream and were left with unlit tacky candles, plastic walls, exposed sand bags and BARE minimum decor. Practically everything she did for us was CHEAP and TACKY. She lied to us about having "a team" when it was just her husband and son that evening. When we reached out for a refund she agreed (clearly she knew she didn't do a good job) but when it was time to pay us she ghosted us for a year despite multiple efforts. Stay far away!!!

We…read morelive in St. Louis, MO so planning a wedding in Sacramento was going to be a little tough since I (the Bride) was from Southern California and the Groom had not lived in Sacramento for at least 10 years. We started planning a little closer to our wedding date in November 2009 (only 7 mo. of planning). Our wedding date was 5/30/10 - Memorial Day Weekend. She helped us find a ceremony and reception location (sending us a ton of photos via e-mail), secure 2 options for hotels for our out-of-town guests (about 70%), rentals for the ceremony. Helped us with the florist, a hair and make-up person, photographer, photobooth company...everything you could absolutely think of - she gave us at least 2 options based on what we were looking for. We only visited once (for one weekend) before the wedding where she scheduled 2 cake tastings, 2 florist meetings, food tasting (which was Mulvaney's and was AMAZING), trial hair & make-up, and visit to the ceremony location. She also helped me with verbiage and proofing on our wedding invitations, menu and programs - which we made. Kendra is very thorough and worked with all of our vendors. She is also very responsive on phone and e-mail and will respond (usually within 24 hours unless she had a wedding or is on vacation. On the day of our wedding, it is hard to show just how helpful she was since it was perfect and nothing went wrong. Her assistant for the day Jordan was also wonderful - she was always there ready to help and I really appreciated it...especially when I wanted to change out my shoes :o). We don't often leave reviews for other vendors (though we should) but we wanted to specifically point out a few things about Makenna that were noteworthy: *Her communication and organization before the wedding was superb. She was very clear and concise and her timeline was super detailed and well organized (we cannot say the same about all timelines we get from planners) *On the day of the event, she was very composed and relaxed! This may seem like a strange thing to point out, but this is the mark of someone who is good at what they do. It's not that she is "chill" or "doesn't care" it's because she's done her legwork and due diligence before the event to make sure that the day of goes smoothly *She goes above and beyond! There were a few venue issues that were solely the fault of the venue and no one else, Makenna immediately stepped in to help rectify these. She even got in her car and did a run to grab ice mid event (who does that???). Overall she is a true pro and made our day (and our client's wedding) amazing! If you're considering her as a wedding planner you can feel confident knowing she will take the time and care to make sure you have the celebration you deserve!

They helped us bring our vision to life while bringing up details neither of us had considered. My husband and I saw everything we'd planned with Makenna be executed beautifully on the day of, and were kept blissfully in the dark about any stressful situations that may have happened on wedding day! They are truly professional--my only regret is not booking them for a full planning package. :)

I am a super type-A person who already knew what I wanted for floral and decor coming into the working relationship and they not only brought it to life but Cindee was so helpful in offering guidance and building on the ideas I already had. She also worked with me to help me get as much out of my budget as possible which is so appreciated and rare in the wedding industry. Linda was our day-of coordinator and she was worth every penny and so much more. I was relaxed on my wedding day because I knew that all details and timeline would be handled by her capable hands. The grounds are just sooo beautiful especially when their roses are in bloom. The ceremony area has two areas. One area faces the water and the other is more of a greenery view which both are just wonderful, you don't have to worry about the sun being in your eyes. The bar and buffet were placed right outside the reception area which was kinda nice so the long lines doesn't get in the way of the tables and dance floor. Loved the large glass chandeliers and draped curtain/tent vibes. Food was sooo good. I heard they made their food at the location so it nice and fresh. Tri tip, salmon mash potatoes and gravy with green beans, feta apple spinach salad and bread with butter was the menu. Drinks were white and red wine, beer and cocktail of choice was a berry sangria which was my favorite.

From both perspectives, I can honestly say this venue is exceptional. As a vendor, I felt incredibly supported. The staff was kind, helpful, and extremely accommodating - offering clear direction, checking in throughout the day, and making sure I had everything I needed to set up and serve with ease. It's rare to work with a venue that treats vendors like valued collaborators, but Lakeview truly did. As a guest, I got to see another level of excellence. The entire event ran seamlessly. Last-minute changes (like additions to bar and food service) were handled quickly and without a hitch. The staff was attentive, well-coordinated, and clearly experienced at handling all the behind-the-scenes details that make a celebration flow beautifully.
