Fortunately they have a French and English menu. I ordered a scallops and mushrooms cream galette and my husband ordered a galette with potatoes and a sausage. He loved his Diabolo drink (strawberry flavor) I loved my galette. The mushroom sauce was so creamy and yummm. Scallops were perfectly cooked. The sausages in my husband's galette were not as flavorful as we expected to be. We wound up the meal with a flambéed banana chocolate crepe, and needless to say, this dish was a hit! Highly recommend Ahna in Dinan. Apparently Rick Steve was at Ahna just one week before we went, and the waiter showed us a picture of Rick Steve.

I visited La Saint George's pre-pandemic while on a business trip to Rennes. I totally enjoyed myself and my meal. The atmosphere was classy for a crepe joint, but probably only average classy ... by French standards. La Saint George was busy on my visit and seemed like a place the locals visited frequently. The cuisine & menu is all about the crepes. The restaurant had French and English menus. My party of 2 Americans and 1 Canadian went for some crepes that were cheeseburger themed. There were cute names for all the crepes. We ordered some cider to go with our meal which was dry and delicious. We had salted caramel dessert crepes that were perfect. However, their selection of galettes was truly unique. This would be my last galette in Rennes, and I had to make it count. Enter Le Giorgio Armani. Four pieces of magret de canard topped with foie gras and a bit of caramelized apple. It was around 17€ and the most expensive thing on the menu. But it was well worth it. I couldn't believe I had four pieces of magret de canard in addition to foie gras. It was like I'd died and gone to heaven. It took me forever to eat because I couldn't stop "Mmmmm" ing and "ooooooh yummmmmm" ing. If you are looking to splurge, this is what you should get. The previous reviewer complained of dry, cold galettes. I didn't have the same experience at all. For dessert, I ordered a speculoos ice cream and Nutella crêpe. It came with a piece of hazelnut chocolate with a flag of Brittany sticking out of it (nice touch!). I loved the speculoos ice cream, but the Nutella crêpe was not particularly noteworthy. Or maybe my expectations were just too high after my galette. Don't come here unless you want something unusual. This was a perfect last crêperie for my time in France.

It is probably a 4 by a French standard ... but it gets a 5 today from this Yankee. In any event, there are no negatives for me to report on this restaurant. I have been to many creperies (30+) in France. Some were as good as L'Epi de Ble, but none were better. On the menu are all the standard creperie options. I went with one of the specials and ordered the Norwegian (salmon). It was delicious. The buckwheat galette was perfection. I ordered some local cider to go with my meal and it was dry and tasty. For dessert, I ordered the salted caramel. It was simple and awesome. I always order this one for dessert. In summary, creperies do not get better than this ... only different.
