We actually wanted to go back our last night here, but didn't, it was that good. One of the popular menu items in the area is oysters. You can't find any more fresh than this! My husband and I were with another couple, and ordered oysters, mussels, fish soup and white fish (merlu). It was the prix fixe menu where you get three courses for one price. It was a bargain for what we got. Food was delicious! Everything was cooked perfectly and flavorful. The wine was as good as the dinner. In fact, when we got back to the US we looked for the same wine we had here and couldn't find it. My husband and I highly recommend this restaurant!

This seems like a family run establishment. The inside feels like you are on a boat. Now on to the juicy details. When in Brittany one must get some seafood. We sure got out share with a seafood platter, Cancale oysters, and house smoked salmon. On the appetizer platters you get 2 oysters, 4 shrimps, periwinkles, snails, and mini shrimps. I really liked the periwinkles. For the mains we got charcroute of the sea which was sauerkraut with fish and shrimp which was surprising delicious. We also tried the lamb dish which was tender and seasoned to perfection! Lastly we tried the mussels which were savory and tender! Dessert came with our meal. We were disappointed in the Cream Caramel. The crepe was good. But the real star was the kourig amann with buckwheat ice cream! YUM!

The 1st one was sent Tuesday June 23rd. I would hope that this one will get a reply. On June 8th, I dined with a friend. We were seated at Table 1. Our server was Cecile. Note No 258 118. The total bill was 121 Euros. Clearly stated at the bottom per my instructions was PRIX PAR PERSONNE 60,50 EUROS. However, I was charged 68,50 euros at 20:43:09 on my Visa. There are several other numbers on the receipt. If you reply to this message, I can send you copies of both receipts. In addition to this flagrant and unauthorized inflation of my bill, Cecile's initial encounter and reception was incredibly rude. She rather briskly approached our table in a very rushed manner. Whatever she said, (she was speaking too quickly for me to understand) I replied in English. Because I was so startled by her manner, I may have omitted Bonjour before the rest of my response which I honestly don't remember. What I do remember was her equally abrupt turning on her heels and stomping off. My dining partner & I were flabbergasted. Moments later, a man appears to take our order. No apologies, no explanations. At some point Cecile reappears as our server. Again no apologies, no explanations. At first we thought that she didn't speak English, but it was clear that was not the case as the meal progressed. In my 50+ years of traveling to nearly every region in your country and hundreds of meals in bistrots, brasseries, cafés and Michelin starred restaurants, I have never encountered such unwarranted rude behavior. Your lack of a reply to my first email speaks volumes. The message being that you condone this kind of conduct. There are many qualities that I admire in the French. Your politesse ranks at the top of my list. The question remains how you intend to reimburse me. I remain waiting for your reply, Jeanne LaCasse

We took the "seafood platter for 2" at 95 euros and ended with one crab each, a dozen oysters, lots of clams, small and big sea snails and grey shrimps - the owner warned us that there wasn't any langoustine because of the weather, and he added more of everything else to compensate. That was fine and can be expected when dealing with fresh products ;) They offered us a small appetizer of fish mousse; we had the seafood platter as main course; then we had desert (3 fruits sorbet for my wife, chocolate profiteroles for me) and an espresso each. Add a champagne glass for aperitif, a glass of White Muscadet wine with the seafood and a bottle of carbonate water and the bill was less than 150 euros! You won't see this kind of price with this kind of food on the West Coast, sadly... Overall, the place was packed for dinner (we had a reservation) but nice and quiet. Both locals and tourists enjoyed their (great) food in a very relaxed setting.
