Staying for 2 nights, we wish we would have planned a couple of weeks so are glad to see it may still be a BnB. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the grounds are spectacular, with a view of Cordes sur Ciel, a walled city towering above the clouds. Christian, those years ago, prepared a several-course dinner that I will never forget, so if that is offered, reserve it! This is a most special stay!

The breakfast costs 10 euro and includes more than just jam, bread and coffee--but no eggs or other yummy salty things. Our tres clean room was on the 3rd floor (no elevator) and was painted a cheerful yellow with mint green trim. Flatscreen tv worked great. Brasserie right next-door is a good choice for dinner and there is also a cheap and popular kebab place a stones throw away. Walking distance to the Cathedral. There are signs for the hotel at some city intersections, so be on the lookout! Carrefour and a boulangerie across the street. wifi a ok. About 80 euro.

This is not at all surprising that I'm the first English review of this. I felt this was a more…read morethan adequate hotel for four people in Albi. I felt even with the modern everything it was a great room, two separate sleeping arrangements, so very easily a family or a large group could be hosted. The location being near the gare, is not as bad as it would sound, not as dangerous as this is southern France, and not a more larger metropolitan area. Think this was a good hotel for the money and it wasn't overly priced. However for seeing the centre of the city, is a bit of a hike even with good feet and shoes. Food wasn't included in the price but for the closeness to shops problem was easily remedied. I would easily go back here since it was rather comfortable and friendly for people who don't speak english. That's quite a lot to ask in southern Europe if one doesn't know the language where one find one in a lot of bad situations, here was not the case happily.
