My first time- so my eyes were a little ambitious... oops!

HANDS DOWN the BEST meal I've had so far in Naples. Don't get me wrong, I love my fair share of pizza and pasta but heeding that age old adage of "too much of a good thing..." Like most other local places, L'Etto only opens around 12:30. From then on, prepare to feast your eyes and senses on the glorious buffet spread handmade and prepared in the kitchens right behind you. Yes there are some pasta dishes but none are your run of the mill meat sauce variety! Very traditional flavors and I got to try a lot of local greens that don't usually pop up in tourist menus. There's a scale that weighs your plate and you can pay after eating your meal! If you are also a person who desires to eat without the smell of smoke and car exhaust, you will be delighted by the spacious indoor seating inside!

This was the most flavorful meal in our entire Italian trip. Lovely lovely meal. The rice bowls are outstanding--tuna; curry chicken; breaded chicken. Amazing. Hummus was a nice starter. Wine prices are reasonable. Would recommend! Came with my family and everyone walked away happy. Get the lava cake for desert.

As tourist, it is easy to get trapped in the vicious pasta-pizza cycle while traveling in Italy. Finding this place was definitely a nice get-away from this cycle. They have a buffet of variety options, vegetarian friendly options, roasted veggies, roasted meats, and of course pasta. The price is 2.50 euros per 100 grams of food. I ended up getting something 400 grams (roughly 10 euros). Is it cheap food? No! But it is well made and gives you the chance to sample different dishes all at once. Service might not have been the best but food definitely was worth it!

A awesome break from all the pizza and pasta in Naples. L'Etto has a clean modern design and offers a great variety of food. Most food is vegetarian or vegan which is nice. Staff speaks English and were helpful.

A perfect restaurant to get exactly what you want for the price you want to spend.

Awesome! Healthy, clean food in the midst of a bread-heavy culture. Super friendly service. We will come back again!

They picked up the phone, made a call, and a table was secured. We walked over, and were immediately seated. The waiter brought a box of multiple shapes of pasta, explained what each was called, and which sauces were appropriate with each. We ended up ordering caprese salad (the freshest buffalo mozzarella we ever had), one pasta, and the bread loaf filled with meatballs and ragu. We were in heaven, and the portions were tremendous. We left stuffed, satisfied, and paid about 45 euros for the meal. Highly recommended!

But the staff was friendly and we were able to get a seat without too much of a wait. I'm giving this restaurant 5 stars primarily because the offer something very unique. A vegetarian Ragu with seitan. This place is known for great ragu, which is meat based. But they offer a vegitarian version that was very good. I got a mushroom pasta dish that was very tatsy and filling. I could only eat half due to how filling it was. My wife got an Aperol spritz and I got an italian beer. If we were back in the area we'd likely stop back in to rty other options on their large menu.

We decided to come here for dinner and were craving a good seafood pasta. They also had their famous Seafood Risotto for two and we could decide, so we shared the seafood pasta as a starter and the Risotto for two for our entree. Service was great and friendly and our pasta was to die for! Spaghetti cooked perfectly al dente mixed with mussels and eggplant topped with parmigiano reggiano. Simple, straightforward, and super tasty. The vibe is awesome with outdoor dining and people watching going on, people are just in the moment of things and conversations the night away, NOT on their phones. I was expecting a pot of risotto to come to our table to split, but we were pleasantly surprised and super pumped that two full sized plates were delivered, fully loaded with clams, prawns and langoustines and a perfectly done risotto on the bottom. For 28 euros?(about $33 usd) You definitely won't get even ONE plate for that price in America! Needless to say, we were stuffed by the end of our meal and decided to walk it off in the bustling streets before seeking out dessert options.
