I have to say when i did go pick up my baby the teacher where all sitting on there asses or talking with the other teachers ! the way my baby is 5 and still talks about what the school did to her at 3 is really heart breaking ! i wish i called someone who could of helped me get justice for my baby ! unless you white or in the military they will make your child seem like NOTHING ! a list of everything they said my 3 year old did. run out the class room run out the school thew a chair across the room my baby has been at a different school since this horrific incident and has truly flourish she has not had any complaints on her as colonial day school put o her, she is the only child she sharing was the only thing we ever had to work on!

That said, it wasn't my kids' favorite. My kids are elementary school aged, and they've been spoiled by going to 6ish different camps over the summer. Who knows if it's because they didn't know the other kids in this program, but the feedback they gave me was that they did a lot of waiting. They claim that the only things they did in their 6 hours there were eat breakfast, go to the playground, eat lunch, and work on a salt dough sculpture. My daughter said the only time she touched a writing utensil was when she used a marker to roll the salt dough sculpture flat. Take it with a grain of salt, because they're kids, but that was their perspective. I did like that breakfast, lunch and a snack is included in the day's program. My kids ate something they described as a waffle for breakfast, and they ate chicken nuggets, sweet potato, and apple for lunch.

We gave two weeks' notice via email of our intent to withdraw our children but never received formal acknowledgment. After following up, we were informed--without prior notice--that they don't pro-rate tuition. As a result, we were charged full tuition for just two days of attendance, which felt unfair and lacked transparency. Staff turnover is also a major issue. Teachers change frequently, with little to no communication from management. This inconsistency made it difficult for our children to build relationships and feel secure. Lastly, the curriculum is not as advertised. Our children weren't meaningfully engaged, making it feel more like basic daycare than an early learning environment.

Both of our sons attended the school for a couple years each. Our boys are very different in personality and learning styles. The Barefoot team provided custom teaching styles to fit each of their unique needs. One of our boys is hard of hearing. he required help with his hearing devices, had regular speech therapy at the school, and was expressing his needs with sign language. The Barefoot staff was fully supportive and made every accommodation requested. Their team is always VERY responsive and proactive. It was truly sad to see our boys move on to other schools.
