The last Sunday morning of October is when daylight savings ends in Italy (until the last weekend of March) so watch out for that (changes from 3am to 2am on Sunday).
The ever-charming barista Gianni is the epitome of Italian charm, with stylistic serving of coffee from the tap of the plate onto the marble counter to the kind explanation of the difference between espresso and espressino (the latter has a little tiny bit of milk on top of espresso) in his low, intoned voice. Doesn't hurt that he looks in part like Robert Downey, Jr. and part Edward Norton. Loved the experience from sunrise to warm, creme-filled croissant (cornetto) with a touch of lemon in the creme.
