Wonderful pizza! The owner is such a wonderful person and was so accommodating to everyone in our group! It was quick and free lemoncello!

Is it better than Santa Maria? Most possibly! This friendly family run restaurant sells great tasting wood oven cooked pizza and sandwiches. Pizzas are a full 12" at very reasonable places. Light and chewy dough with a limited selection of toppings to not over complicate the menu. Finish it off with some homemade tiramisu. The restaurant fills up quickly now that word has gotten around. Hopefully this will continue for years to come as this gem in my neighbourhood is a fantastic find.

One of the best pizzeria in London, if not the best. Proper Italian ingredients, full of taste, for a reasonable price.

Good pizza from a wood stove oven. Not loads of choice of toppings, but all were delicious. We have eaten in and also had a take-away.

Review Highlights - L'oro Di Napoli

This is the best pizza I have had outside of Italy, and I have eaten at all of the usual suspects in London (Franco Manca, Santa Maria, Pizza Pilgrims).

I love that they stay open pretty late compared to other restaurants around because my group could only get together later in the night for dinner. The ambiance was casual and relatively modern. The space in the restaurant was a little bit tight and it was very narrow and deep. We grabbed a table in the back corner. It was pretty crowded which was a good sign, but also very loud. Our server was nice and checked up on allergies for our group as we requested. This restaurant is very careful with allergies. We started with one of their special starters of the day, "Buffalo Mozzarella + Langhirano Coppa." It was a plate with thin cold cuts of cured beef with fresh mozzarella, arugula, and tomatoes. I really enjoyed this. I loved the cold cuts and the mozzarella. It tasted so fresh and was a nice little snack before the meal. For my meal, I ordered the pizza with Gloucester old spot ham (home cured), mozzarella, buffalo ricotta, and extra tomato sauce. I really enjoyed my pizza! I really liked the sourdough crust and I liked the fact that the crust was not too thick. I loved the ham and cheeses on my pizza as well. They didn't skimp out on the meat which was good. However, I did want extra tomato sauce on my pizza and I felt that they barely put tomato sauce on it. I still really enjoyed the pizza though! I thought that the prices were also very good. Overall, casual ambiance, friendly and careful staff, great prices, and great food! I would definitely recommend Franco Manca.

Service on the phone & the drivers have always been fine. The one time I remember a delivery driver forgetting something he went off and returned quickly. The pizzas themselves are good in the American style (If I am in the mood for something more akin to traditional Italian Neoplitan style Pizza than 'Firezza' gets my vote!). I generally opt for the deep pan which is thick but not too heavy. Regular toppings I get & rate include pepperoni, ham, mushrooms, and proper green chillies NOT the pickled jalapeños you more commonly get elsewhere. They offer a 3 Cheese blend which includes Cheddar & Monterey Jack as well as the usual Mozzarella. I occasionally have that but it is slightly richer! They have a collection only 7 incher + 2 toppings for £2.50 which is good value if you are in the area. There is not really a proper table to eat at inside though customers do make use of the seating bench for takeaway if they are so inclined! I have tried most of the pizza outlets on Acton High Street: 'Pizza Hut', 'Babylon Pizza', 'Hello Pizza' & 'Snappy Tomato Pizza' on The Vale and have found 'Top's Pizza' to be the best in terms of consistent quality & overall taste. Of the other chains who deliver to my area only 'Domino's' has had an equal or greater amount delivered to my abode. 'Perfect Pizza' & 'Papa Johns' are two other chains who have nearby delivering branches I have tried more than once but do not personally regard as highly.
