This place is awful. And very rude. If you are a sailor don't come here they already hate you. 3 of us walked in to a completely empty restaurant and they were angry we even came. They sat us at a 2 top and put a chair on the end. Again, every table was open. Honestly, I don't know how I'm the first no star review. I ordered the filet, medium.The most expensive thing on the menu, thinking they would respect us more if I did. I was wrong. The filet came out first in just under six minutes still mooing. The dude hardly cooked it at all. The salad was all iceberg with unpitted olives that had gone bad. I continued to be as polite as possible but was treated like they didn't want me or my friends there. We were not offered any specials and the place does not take cards. Don't go here. My friends ordered the pasta and it sucked too. Seriously, let this place fail. No stars. read more

Amazing homemade food! Very small dining area but don't let that scare you. Intimate setting and fabulous service. Well worth the stop.

Love the patron - really nice authentic Italian guy, very friendly: I asked if they'd accept cards which he denied, adding instantly "you can pay tomorrow" - this one seeing me for the first time. Highly recommended. Food was fantastic! The Italian owner did not speak much English but was very friendly and accommodating to a non-German speaker such as myself. The menu had a lot of great selections, we tried two items, a ravioli dish and a rabbit dish. Both were exceptional; very large portions so make sure you come hungry. Our house wine was always topped off (and quite drinkable) and there was a complimentary digestif after dinner from the owner. After paying the bill and leaving, we made it about a block away when we heard the owner chasing after us and yelling in Italian, my friend had forgotten her purse and he made sure to return it.
