Spacious, pretty well organized. It's not the venue's fault but in 2025 many cars are not in the show. No Tesla, no Lexus, no BMW, no Audi, no Porsche (there were some porsche from the downtown Porsche dealer but you cannot go inside), the list goes on.\ I really wanted almost all car brands to be there because it will save me many trips for different brands when the time comes for me to buy another car. If you're planning to buy a vehicle, definitely come & check out the LA Auto Show. We came on the last day and to our surprise it wasn't that crowded. All the exhibits allowed people to sit in the cars and some of the major vendors had mini tracks for test drives. The experience of seeing the new makes and models for the upcoming year was a good experience and well worth the money. Definitely go through Costco if you're a member. Costco has tickets for two for $31.Parking is $32. I enjoy the convenience of comparing different car brands all under one roof because that's something I can't do at a single dealership. I haven't been to the LA Auto SHOW in about 15+ years and I was BLOWN away at how much things have changed!!! I wanted to see the NEW Super cars... Lamborghinis, Ferrari and Aston Martin, F1 didn't appear much or had their own show room. There were instead Lambos for RENT and a bunch of FIXED UP cars like the FAST & FURIOUS movies... LEXUS, BMW & MERCEDES were NO WHERE on SITE?! Very disappointed at the car show this year and I am grateful I lived to see the GOOD OLD LA Auto show days during the early 2000s! Those were the best times. Saleen and a bunch of exotic beauties were present... One cool thing there is that you can actually get in line and do TEST DRIVES which makes it feel more interactive like a theme park... STAR OF THE SHOW: The best looking car in my opinion was the MASERATI MCPURA... PRO TIP: Wear comfortable shoes and stretch because it's a lot of walking for the 80s babies and higher ;) read more

2025 LA Auto Show! Let's go! Back for another year of the LA tradition of checking out new cars and rides. This year it's 2 weeks of the show. Falls usually around Thanksgiving week. They had special guests this year and a few new names at the show. Came on a Saturday in hopes to see Han(Sung Kang) from The Fast & Furious Tokyo Drift. Missed him while doing a test drive. Sad. At least there are cars that I think that look like it's from Fast & Furious? Also first time seeing Faraday Future. Anyone have $300k just lying around? It's like the ultimate luxury and super car all in one. You get to ride in 2 models. Very nice and posh. Overall lots to do and see. Plenty of free tote bag giveaways to haul your goodies. Empty your phone storage and be prepared to take lots of photos. Go with the Costco deal 2 tickets for $31.99. Excludes parking. Walk a little extra and find cheaper parking. read more

We had a great time at the 2025 LA Auto Show! The husband enjoyed checking out the new designs and features of each car brand. I really liked how they engaged customers in a variety of ways -- super cool ride-a-long/test drive courses, games with prizes, lounge areas, handcrafted drinks, super cute pets, merch and freebies. There were virtual driving tournaments and a robot dog interacting with people! I personally preferred the vintage car section. The In N Out area was fun. :) It was a very well organized event. We bought our tickets on Costco.com. We prepaid for parking a short walk away using SpotHero. read more

LA Auto Show is one of the big ones for all car lovers and even future car owners. It gives you an idea and a hands on experience if you're either looking to purchase a new car or just an enthusiast. Here at the car show you have all your major manufacturer and brands and other vendors for custom or after market products. There are certain years you'll see that some of the brands may not attend and who knows why but it's just observation after going all these years. It's a good time here and you can easily spend 3-4 hours walking around, test driving and also doing some interactive activities at certain brands. Make sure you get a map when entering as it will show you where every thing is. Parking is usually 3x the price of the ticket or so but there are other lots around as well. read more

Back again to the LA Auto Show after not going for 8 years! I've never gone on opening day and was there 2 hours after opening time and stayed about 2 hours. It was less crowded than I thought, so that part of it was really great. The show itself was fine, nice to be back, but just fine. I mainly went ahead and went because I knew I was going to be in the immediate area that day for something else (within 15 miuntes), so figured I'd go, so being there on opening day was pure coincidence. Otherwise, I don't know if I still would have gone. There was a section in one of the car rooms selling burgers and fries called Marathon Burger, so I got it because I've never heard of them and like trying new foods. It was really good! Overall, it's not nearly as large (and/or maybe exciting) as a decade or so ago. read more

LA Auto Show is a yearly International car event held at the LACC. It features all modern and concept vehicles across brands. As a car enthusiast, I try to make it to every auto show. This year they have less car models (no Ford, Lexus, BMW, Audi, Alfa Romero) albeit still a nice event. The event offers free tea, coffee, hot chocolate drinks and tote bags. Car Guest Relations host were knowledgeable and friendly. General admission tkt costs $24/pp. Parking in the garage is more expensive than the event ticket. However, public transportation is available. Overall, it's a good auto show but not all the major brands were present. read more

My son's and husband goes every year and enjoy seeing the cars and talks about every detail lol and I feel so lost lol Love to see many activities for the kids and even adults. This was something I went to with my husband and son. It was cool to see so many different manufacturers in one spot especially if you are thinking of buying a car or truck soon. There is an area for all the show cars ( old school) that was fun. A lot of respect goes into how much time, money and effort it takes to get the cars looking like they do and keep them in that condition. It was a nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon. It was not my first choice bit it was 100% what my husband and son would do. Im sure they would give it a 4 or 5 star. read more

Trying to continue my annual trek to this event... I always look forward to "what's new". This year I experienced the "ride-a-longs" at the Jeep, Ford, & Hyundai sections... definitely worth the experience. My favorite Kentia Hall never fails as I love customized vehicles. Always check the website for a full list of exhibitors. Many of the European brands have stopped coming lately. So if you are hoping to see the latest Audi, BMW or Mercedes-Benz, you might be disappointed. Porsche does have a presence here but it is supported by a California Porsche dealership. Most of the domestic brands have very large displays and some have ride-along features. The Jeep booth is always a hit with it's obstacle course. If you arrive early, you just might avoid the long lines. Some of the exhibitors also have test drive stations outside the convention center. Again, check the website carefully to see who will, and will not, be there. It's a great way to get some time in a vehicle that you may be considering without having to go to a dealership and deal with their sales rep. If you like cars, you'll most likely really enjoy yourself. Self parking is all around but pricy as is the food. You might want to take advantage of already paying for parking and explore the surround area. LA Live is right there as is Staples/Crypto.Com Arena. You might be able to find a great restaurant in the area. Wear very comfortable walking shoes and...enjoy!!! read more

It's a tradition to go the car show every year with my family for several years. However, it's not the same before COVID and post-COVID. They do not have a lot of car makes like they use to and it seems very limited to the car selections they have. It use to be way better and more feasible for the tickets and concessions. They best part of the show to me was the old school cars, and low rider bikes section. I think that was very classy with some nice trendy eccentric cars. This is the reason for the the 3 stars. Also, the parking is crazy expensive to get in charging $30! Which is crazy. Overall, I know that it's more innovative options and experiences to do, it's not all that great anymore! Parking was $30, and all charging stations were occupied. Tickets could be purchased online. There were plenty of cars to explore and view, and large companies handed out free goodies and items. Food trucks were available, along with a small cafeteria-style dining area for food purchases. The event was very crowded, but restrooms were accessible. However, not all major companies were present; I didn't see Mercedes, BMW, or Lexus. I did get the chance to do a ride-along with Nissan. read more

I purchased tickets for my wife, my grandsons, and myself for Saturday event, which they charge a little more than for weekday event. I can't attend the event due to a personal problem, BUT they do not allow you to attend the weekday event on the purchased weekend tickets. The total spending will be a simple waste of money UNLESS you sell them to other people. In my case, I can't even give the tickets to other people for free, as they are not simple four but two senior and two kids tickets. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT PURCHASE TICKETS IN ADVANCE. $35 dollar parking, $7 dollars for a can of mostly cold Coca Cola, looked at all the overpriced food and snacks, decided to eat at a restaurant in the way home. If I am going to pay restaurant prices, might as well go to a restaurant. The auto show has too many electric vehicles that no one is going to buy. But if you want to blow $60 on entry and $35 on parking, on cars you can't afford or need, then go ahead. read more

When I mentioned being at the LA Auto Show, my friends asked if I got into cars. That's funny. I am not into cars. My boyfriend is into cars. Typical guy! Nevertheless I was so excited to come and share his hobby with him. I heard from others at the car show how the 2023 LA Auto Show was lacking compared to their prior experience. Many of the manufacturers had dropped out. If I was someone super into cars, I would be disappointed cause there was nothing above and beyond impressed. I heard comments about how this show was maybe for someone looking to buy a new car. I would also disagree cause it's just the top model of each car, not necessary the car I would buy. Why go to an auto show when you can see the Corollas and Civics at any local dealer. Also they had another section of random vendors. It makes sense to have car vendors or car accessory vendors but they had some randommmmmm vendors that had nothing to do with car shows. The organizers must just want to charge people money... for entrance and for exhibiting. Anyways, I had a good time!! Probably for all of the wrong reasons. I was amused with the test drive since the EVs were able to drive indoors. Shoutout to sexy mood lighting in the Hyundai Ioniq 6. The salesperson did a great job telling us about the car's feature. My boyfriend was more impressed by the Nissan's EV, despite the poor lacking highlights of its' features, he liked it cause it went faster. My FAVORITE thing was all of the photo opportunities. The absolutely highlight of my weekend was the Chevy Silverado Photobooth that allowed us to star in a comic. There were 3 adventures to pick from and you take 3 pictures. There is staff directing you how to pose, and they email or text you a digital copy of the comic. HILARIOUS. Love Love Love it! There was also a photo op in the Kevin Hart collection and the Police let me take a picture on their motorcycle. Fun fun fun... for me. I'm not sure it was the kind of day my boyfriend had in mind. It's up to the boyfriend if we come back in the future. I wouldn't mind but it's definitely not the cars that I'm impressed with. The organizers need to do a better job with the event. read more

This year's auto show was heavily focused on electric vehicles at the main show front and center. It was cool to see all the concept cars from local auto dealers. I was excited to see the VW van and electric motorcycles. Unfortunately the show isn't what it used to be. For a steep ticket price $22 ( I didn't pay full price luckily) and parking fee $30, the major luxury brands such as Mercedes, Tesla, infinity, Jaguar, BMW, Lotus, or Audi .... Etc .... were not there. It was a mash-up of custom show cars and pop up sellers to fill the remaining showrooms. Normally I would spend half a day here but today I completed the whole show in 3 hours. Pro-tip. If you're looking for discounted tickets, Costco is selling two for $30. My husband and I have an annual tradition to go the LA Auto Show! If you're a car enthusiast, it's something that I highly recommend checking out--it's super cool to see all the cars and even test drive some. My highlight this year was getting to test drive a Lucid. My only gripe is that lines for test driving cars tend to be on the longer side and although the show itself doesn't close until around 10pm, most test drives end before 5pm. Overall though, I really enjoyed going and will be back again next year. read more

I have had the opportunity to check out about a half dozen Auto Shows in different cities, the LA Auto Show is always a good time. With the low rider car culture combined with vintage and future vehicles on the horizon, makes for a really cool exhibit. The 2023 Auto Show here was not as good as previous I've attended within the past 5 years but still had a good time. Was out with the whole family, taking photos, jumping in the vehicles to check out the inside, rolling in the drivers seat for the virtual car race, all good fun. The overall number of vehicles seemed less but some cool cars were on display. Some highlights were Kevin Hart personal collection, the Bat Mobile (formerly the Ford Futura) Mystery Machine from Scooby Doo, the LA Low Riders vintage area and the test driving tracks. I haven't been to this show since COVID hit, so we were pretty excited to attend the 2022 show. We went during the last weekend so it was a bit crowded. Lots to see and lots to do. We were only able to do the South Hall (very quickly), the West Hall, and the Galpin's Hall of Customs because we ran out of time. West Hall was pretty cool because it was very interactive and we got to do the indoor thrill rides. Camp Jeep took us on an off-road experience, that left you speechless. Ram Truck Territory allowed us to pull a 700lb wall. Ford Bronco Built Wild took us on another off-road experience that had you do some air time with 1 tire off the ground. Ford Lightning Experience took you from 0 to 60 mph in seconds. South Hall's biggest feature was Toyota. They featured the Special Olympics where you got to participate in various games that the Olympians get to do. Really great interactive area for the family plus you got to take home your own medal. Overall, the show focused on the FUTURE!!! Lots of new electric models and hybrid models were featured to improve our planet. The modifications to the classic car was interesting to learn about. Some of these styles were very futuristic so really looking forward to some of these cars. We are definitely looking forward to next years show!!!! NOTE: If you are not used to big crowds or you are a germaphobe, please protect yourselves. Not too many people were wearing masks and not too many sanitizing stations. read more

Our second year at the LA Auto Show and have enjoyed it enough that we will likely keep coming. Even as a non-car enthusiast, I had a good time wandering with the kids (age 3 and 5) picking up merchandise or doing scavenger hunts. The hubby test drove a number of cars outside, did ride alongs, and even participated in the racing game competition. We were a bit disappointed there wasn't as much kids things to do as last year (Toyota did a great Olympics section with lots to do). We just asked the food places inside this convention for paper plate..they refused because of "inventory"...you bought that for most likely less than .10-.05cents. Went to the LA auto show with the fam today. Was happy to come back to this annual event to get a first hand look at our favorite brands and compare the various models and features to each other. The show was as interactive an event (around cars) as we've ever experienced...some of the brands the set up a closed track so that one could get the feel of riding the car, which we didn't do because the lines were pretty long but I thought it was cool to see the lengths to which car manufactures went to "demo " their cars. I was a little disappointed to learn some manufacturer didn't attend; Audi, Mercedes, BMW, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Ferrari, Lamborghini...in other words the higher end luxury brands. Porsche was there...with their full line up of vehicles...not that we're in the market for a Porsche or any of the high end brands ...still was awesome to see the effort Porsche put into the event! We had a fun day! I think anyone who likes cars (or remotely interested in buying a car in the next year) would probably learn a lot and have a good time in the process; we certainly did! read more

Having only been to a few auto shows, this show felt like a try-hard. Aside from the 4x4 indoor track, where let's be honest, some other non 4x4 vehicles could have completed, the truck bed corn hole challenge, silly QR code games, and incredibly cheesy prizes and email scams to gain your business, this show felt like you were walking through an indoor/outdoor car mall. It was certainly not worth the $32 parking, which cost more than the tickets, and the look alike cabin dashboards in most vehicles that appeared to be a flatscreen ad campaign in a Target magazine. Most of the vehicles looked like they were made of shiny plastic ready for the Dent Doctor to say, sorry, it won't be 100%, but I'll give it a "stitch". Being a car enthusiast, Scout, Dodge, and Ford shined bright, while the rest of the four wheel group looked like Toyotas. Instead of the LA Auto Show, you "basically" could have just visited a CarMax for free. :) read more

This was my 3rdor 4th visit to the LA Auto show. In the past, I had early VIP access. There wasn't a crowd and each time I crossed paths with Arnold Schwarzenegger and other celebrities. This year I went with some friends - one of which was in the market for an EV. This time we had general admission tickets. We got there a little after 9 a.m. on Black Friday and it wasn't crowded at all. Vaccination cards or negative COVID tests were required at check in, but the line still moved quickly. Masks were required and there were plenty of hand sanitizing stations everywhere. They also gave everyone a pack of sanitizing wipes when entering. There were also plenty of restrooms and some concessions stands inside. I noticed that this year there were a lot more hybrids and fully electric vehicles on the show floor. I even saw a Cobera - an electric Shelby Cobra replica, which is so wrong in my book. (I overheard someone saying the same thing.) For the record, I'm a Ford Mustang/Shelby girl. My first car was a 64 1/2 Mustang, and I've driven them my entire life. Ford & RAM had their own indoor tracks where you could test drive the Mach-E & RAM Exhibit. In the other hall there was an EV Track where people could test drive the Porsche, Mini, Hyundai, & Kia hybrids. Gas powered vehicles could be test driven outside and some manufacturers gave away gift cards with test drives. Several handed out some cool swag. Porsche always has its own private showroom. Overall, my favorite is Galpin's Hall of Customs. I love seeing all the cool custom cars from Galpin's personal collection, and the beautiful muscle cars. I always pick up their free calendar. I also enjoy seeing the concept cars, Toyota race cars, and the new Corvette Z06 & Stingray. One year there was a race car made entirely out of Legos on display. It was so cool. My friend was interested in the Subaru Outback hybrid. Subaru always has a neat display area with a section featuring dogs for adoption, which I love. He checked it out along with a few other hybrid vehicles, and in the end he had his heart set on the Lincoln Aviator. (We saw one EV with a solar roof. I think it was Hyundai.) Parking is pricy ($25 - $30) but if you are willing to walk a bit you can find cheaper lots a few blocks away. In the past, I would take a LYFT but currently their rates are outrageous. After the show you can head over to LA Live for a bite to eat or check out the Grammy Museum, which is what we did. read more

Always fun to walk around and look at cars. Very spacious venue and it doesn't feel overcrowded. Friendly staff and plenty of bathrooms around, all very clean. The line to get in moves quickly. You need to show proof of vaccination and go through the security. Everyone is very nice and efficient. Packs of complimentary sanitizing wipes available at entrance. Plenty of touchless hand sanitizing stations all over the venue. Lots of QR codes around to find out more about the vehicles. Some cars you can open and sit inside, some are locked prototypes, others you can test drive, and some you can't really get near at all (Tesla). Plenty of people around to discuss car details if you want. Food court with plenty of options. It's a large exhibit with different halls and levels, including the garage. Plenty of signage to help. You can exit and renter, but there if no expedited way to renter. They will stamp your hand and you can return but you will have to wait in line and go through security again. read more

I've been pretty busy last few years with work and school, so haven't had much time to do anything fun. We decided to do a road trip since I had Thanksgiving week off. We wanted to hit up the LA Auto Show, Grand Central Market, Hollywood, and Santa Monica Pier. So back to the auto show... there were so many beautiful, amazing cars! We were able to really check them out. I sat in and inspected a bunch of different cars. It's a bad time to buy because prices are going to be elevated due to chip shortage and supply chain issues, but I'm taking notes for the future when we are ready to buy another vehicle. One car that really impressed me was the new electric Ford Mustang Mach-E. The car looks nice, feels comfortable to sit in, and the range is not bad. We were able to sit inside while the Ford Employee took us for a really quick test drive. The acceleration was impressive and it was a smooth ride the short time I was in the car. Better to gauge if I was able to drive it myself and for a longer period. It is a car I would consider buying though. Overall, I think the auto show is worthwhile even if you aren't planning on buying a car in the near future. It was a good, wholesome experience with the family. Just went today. Not worth it. Parking is $30 alone. Tickets were $20 each before tax. So between my wife and I, we spent more than $80 before we even walked in the door. There are so few exhibitors this year. BMW, Mercedes, and Jeep were nowhere to be seen. Many of the automakers listed in marketing materials are only half truths. They're listed as being in the "Concourse Hall and Foyer" (not the big halls, South and West), but really they're repped just by one dealership, Galpin, in the Galpin Hall where a bunch of modded cars are. I think I saw one Mazda vehicle. Three Land Rovers. That's not a appearance by a manufacturer. Although, admittedly, Galpin probably had the best section with their modded Porsches, Land Rovers, and Broncos. Not sure that's worth the price of admission though. Tons of empty space is just wasted. I looked around and just saw empty grey carpet in both South and West Halls. It has to be at half or less capacity this year compared to last. Barely any giveaways/freebies/fun things. And, many manufacturers bought just one of their most popular models and in the lowest spec/trim? Toyota is phoning it in (not bringing the Land Cruiser and locking the doors of the new Camry? C'mon now.). Chevrolet bringing a Corvette Z06 but not the E-ray that just launched? Porsche isn't there even though they're listed on the test drives section? And while Porsche historically had their own hall for years, it's now taken over by the "Kevin Hart Kollection" which is super boring and also shows off a bunch of random brands he's a part of (like an unmanned booth for a smoothie company weirdly running a sweepstakes for a trip to LA, lol). Kentia Hall (i.e., "The Garage") is a mostly a bunch of vendors hawking t-shirts and Funkos. We typically budget for about 4 hours at the LA Auto Show around Thanksgiving every year. This year we spent about two and a half tops. Unfortunately, the LA Auto Show needs to step up or they're gonna disappear like E3. It's been going downhill for a few years now, but this year the worsening has absolutely accelerated (pun intended). Save your money and go to a local Cars and Coffee, CarMax, dealership, or the Peterson Automotive Museum instead. read more
