They also gave us some good information about things to do and see. You must see the 'Som et Lumiere' at Valance if you get the chance. Also the markets at Montcuq and Motaigue de Quercy. I will certainly return to their lovely home (best kitchen in Lourdes) to visit and do more cycling in the spectacular countryside there.

The food is amazing, the service is fast and the prices are reasonable. We had made reservations for four and were seated next to the windows for a lovely view of the farm. All of the products we ate came from the farm or were locally sourced (for example, the trout came from a shop down the road!) For my starter, I was served a huge piece of fish and it was fantastic, although maybe just a smidge overcooked for me. The real star of the show was the steak, as it could not have been more tender than it was! I am literally still dreaming about how buttery soft it was. Topped with fleur de sel and served alongside homemade fries, I mean, what more could you ask for? It was PERFECTION. The cheese is an absolute must in this area and the cake, well I didn't really care much for it. However I cannot recommend this place enough. If you have a chance to go, please do! What's fun is you can hear the sheep baaing as you leave this wonderful place as well :)
