Then you go downstairs....and wow. It's so cool. Like a cave of sorts. There's various rooms for various things, like massage rooms, a wash down rooms, steam showers, a relaxing waiting area; really just super cool. Now it is a Thai spa place, so keep in mind you won't be getting a Swedish massage here; it will be a Thai massage or Balinese massage or service. So if you're hankering for the typical Swedish massage this isn't the place for it. But if you're open to a different type of massage that is just as good as a Swedish massage (if perhaps, not better). This just might be your jam.

Now while the hotel was telling me that they were going through some renovations, I didn't expect service to be sub-par. The hotel is in the heart of the city so really close location to great restaurants and shops. The price for a 90mins couple massage was also reasonable especially for a park hyatt so I didn't feel like I got ripped off. Plus the masseuse were good. We had good massages but the post experience wasn't so great. The relaxation area wasn't as clean as I would like. The doors closing were always slammed shut so you hear everything. They said you can use the facilities for two additional hours after your treatment but I got out quick. The sauna was nice. Oh and the changing room is co-Ed so you will see some half naked men or women. Depends on your day ... while I do like the park hyatt brand I can't say I will recommend them and who knows if the renovation will improve your experience. I sure hope so!

The service is simply superb- Evelyn, the receptionist, is really attentive. She took my coat, brought me coffee, led me to the place by the big table. Note on the interior- this place is amazing. There's plenty of space, one big table without mirrors so you cannot see the stylist at work until the very end. I got my hair done by Patricia couple of times- I simply tell or show her the style I want and she modifies the hairstyle so it suits my face shape and skin tone. I trust her completely!

I scheduled an appointment (recommended, as walk-ins often have to wait or come back the next day) for 12:30pm on a Tuesday. When I checked in, I was offered a complimentary cappuccino while sitting in the waiting area. Some techno remixes of American songs were playing, which was fun to listen to. Juliet was lovely and escorted me upstairs to the manicure table. They charged me €5 to remove my shellac manicure before beginning the treatment. The manicure process was efficient and I was happy with the color selection. I wish there had been a lotion treatment for my hands, but my nails were well-conditioned with oils. Be warned: this salon is cash only. I tried to present a credit card to pay, since there was a notice on the door indicating they accepted Visa and Mastercards, but my nail technician said it was cash only. There's a bank across the street, but I would have preferred to pay on a card since the services are a bit more expensive than the states (€39 for a shellac manicure, about $44 USD). Compared to other salons outside the city center, I much preferred the chic vibes here!
