I have been here twice now and have walked away very satisfied and not that much poorer. You get a pretty good tortilla(a whole one) with an extra ingredient like onion, chorizo, or alioli for 5 euro! Split one of those with a friend and get a jarra(which are cheap too) and you can have a fine meal with a beer for under 5 euro. Sounds like the perfect place to go en La Crisis. I'll admit the ambiance leaves a bit to be desired and last time we had an angry troll serve us, but normally the staff is very nice and I will continue to go back here when I need to save some cash.

We think she was confused about table numbers or something. So every 5 minutes the waiters would come by, all smiles, with the next dish (or 3,) and we'd have to break the news to them that it wasn't ours. This wouldn't have been so stressful, except that my Spanish is only OK, and the waitstaff doesn't speak much English (that's totally cool, it's Spain, after all) This happened at least 5 times. None of the food was particularly memorable. The Mussels in escabeche were OK, but not spicy. Beyond that, we got the pinchos sampler. It was mostly good, but nothing jumped out and said "Take pictures! Share me with the world!" Overall, a respectable, but not fantastic, 3 stars.
