Ended up ordering the hot chocolate, it was perfectly-made, thick, real "A la Taza" hot chocolate; not that watery depressing stuff many places serve. Service is really friendly and customer focused. The place has a warm decoration and a very nice atmosphere. 4 stars for decoration, service, atmosphere, prices and a very good cup of proper hot chocolate. Would definitely return and upgrade their rating if the food delivers the same quality. Try it!

However the menu is simple and like moves quickly. There are a few counter seats or take it to go. The star are the churros and hot chocolate. Churros are made fresh- you can watch them make it through the window. Simple without any sugar or cinnamon, yet fresh , delicious and airy. The chocolate is thick , decadent , and perfect for dipping. You can also try adding milk but I prefer the chocolate without any additions. Cost is 5.2 euro for plate or churros and cup of chocolate. I've tried some other churro spots but I keep coming back here every time I'm in Barcelona!
