The beach is fine sand and for children a small swimming area is available. You can also get a cabin or only a small locker for your value goods. The small but good restaurant and bar is open from 8am to 8pm and provides daily different lunches from 5 to 15 €. Coffee is cheap as always in real italien bars, so a cappuccino is about 1,30€. The scenery in this beautiful bay is worth a visit when you are around. But you have to climb down steep stairs. I come to this place for years now, even when I speak no Italian and the family speaks only Italian ;-)

The windows open on the sea, on a nice cove with beautiful pines: this place is a small piece of paradise. And this is the perfect place to have lunch after a day at the beach or before catching a plane in Pisa. The food was excellent: for appetizer we had a calamari salad - calamari were served hot while the delicious salad, including spinach, was cold - which was amazing: i really liked the spinach and calamari together. Then I had the pasta alla vonghole which were delicately spicy and really delicious (and believe me I have developed an obsession for this dish for years now). My friend had some other type of pasta with seafood which were also excellent and a bit spicy: the sauce was completely different from mine (they know how to cook here!) but as delicious. So it will come as no surprise: I highly recommend. I cannot wait to take my car and go back there to escape the city for a day!
