Food was delicious! Service was fantastic . The atmosphere was very authentic . We stopped for a late lunch leaving Grand Canyon/Sedona one the way to PHX - WELL WORTH THE FEW MILES OF I-17!

Came here for a quick and casual dinner. It is nice they have a patio area to sit outside. The servers were friendly but the service was not great. It took 10+ minutes to get our drink orders in and have our server come by our table. Other people were sat after our party and were served before us. The food was good. I really liked the beans. The enchilada trio was a nice was to try three different sauces. I would come here again before the food was good! The service was only okay though.

Food did not meet standards Service could be improved by the waiters been more active and prepared with having utensils in the table and not bring them out when half the food is been brought out and sitting cold. almost $400!!! for 20 burritos like this

    Carne Asada

Ate here with my brother and son. We had the Carne Asada plates and my son had nuggets and fries. Service was amazing and the staff was very kind and attentive. Plan to come again in the future!

Food was ok, but honestly I could make better at home. The chicken was dry and not well seasoned. The toppings: guac, sour cream, etc. were great, chicken and veggies not so much. The service was also mediocre. We had to remind them two times to bring another basket of chips and my dad ordered a drink that never came. He ended up giving up on trying to get the waiters attention, but it still showed up on the bill. Truly nothing special, but there wasn't much open in the area.

First time here a few months back my husband and I came with a friend. Crowded on Saturday so we ate outside - weather was lovely. It was great, we all really enjoyed our lunches. Looking forward to eating here regularly.

What a great find for Mexican food! I had the taco salad with ground beef, and it was tasty! Loved the decor. Service was as fast as possible considering a full house on a Friday evening. Our 7 month old granddaughter loved the bean dip (without the chips)! She also liked some of the ground beef from my salad. Would come here again if passing thru.

Wow! What a great find. If you are traveling through this area, you won't be disappointed if you stop here for a meal. We arrived around 6:30 pm on a Friday night and it was packed. We only had to wait a few minutes to get a table for 4 and a high chair but we had to squeeze in. Our waiter was very efficient and worked his b*** off every minute we were there. The food was very tasty. A fun experience. Parking can be a challenge.

What a great find in this little town! I went to La Casita my first night in Arizona, and I loved it! I ordered the Enchiladas traditional, and boy were they yummy! Also, I love that the chips came with not only salsa but refried bean dip. I mainly ate the refried beans. The waiters were so helpful: 3 of them were coming to my table throughout my meal. I had a waiter at my table every 5-10 minutes. Incredible service! A must try in Camp Verde.

Traveling the USA. I love finding gems like this! If your in the area & looking for Mexican Food. Look no further, this is it!

    Chicken tortilla soup.

Stopped in here while camping at Zane Grey. This place is fantastic. Ordered the Chili Verde and Chicken tortilla soup. Kids had beef taco salad and Carne asada. Food is made fresh and it shows. Flavors are fantastic. Meat was tender and moist. Soup was light and fresh with plenty of chicken. Carne asada was cooked perfect. Everyone left full and happy. Service was excellent. You won't be disappointed if you're in the area and want authentic Mexican food.

Fajita salad was not good. Tasted like store bought fajita sauce. And too creamy. Chips ok. Didn't seem home made. Atmosphere is nice.

The prices have really become too high. $100 for 3 people, with no appetizers and one bar drink are crazy.

I do love Mexican food and try any place that I run across…read more I've been to this location three times and was satisfied for the most part. The first time I went, I got a combination platter with a Chile Relleno, enchilada, and taco with rice and beans. I honestly wasn't impressed with the flavors. All the items seemed pretty basic to be honest and my taco shell was a little burnt. But I decided to give another couple tries. The second time I went, I got the fajita steak taco salad. That was much better. Last but definitely not least I went and got there green chili burrito. Now that was something delicious. I would definitely go back for that dish. Amazing green sauce. They also have really good chips and salsa. It's a small place with good service. It's been busy every time I've been there so that must be a good sign. Anyway, give it a try sometime.

This is a little spot right off the highway on the way to our from Flagstaff to Phoenix. I've passed it many times and often wondered, and I am pleasantly surprised. It wasn't crowded when we went there, but I can see that it probably is at times. We had a quick bite to eat, and it was very enjoyable. It's nice to have an actually good restaurant right off the freeway went off. Those are the ones that are just good enough to fill your tummy. The food was good because in my experience whenever I have great tasting Mexican food, I do get a little indigestion lately and I did hear as well, but don't take it as an indication that the food is bad. It was very nice and I will be back.

Soooo, I would guess the place may get busy on weekends perhaps? The food was your average Mexican-American Cuisine and the prices were the same as much larger or nicer establishments, but since I think its the only Mexican restaurant around for miles, they have the market cornered. The Chimi was pretty small (should have known since it was only $4) but the burrito I ordered was the expected. The margaritas were good but the chips and salsa did not include bean dip as mentioned by another reviewer. Guess they stopped doing that. My suggestion to the management: advertise some happy hour specials and offer them daily. This will at least bring in SOME business. You are on a major thoroughfare; utilize this to your advantage. You will attract plenty of locals along with several travelers (like myself) in need of refreshment and a decent meal.

The waitress was great, continuous refills on drinks, chips and salsa. After sitting down you get a great big basket of chips, two salsas, pico and bean dip. The chicken burrito and the chicken enchilada suiza was stuffed with chicken - no skimping on the meat here. The margs were fair - not the best I have ever had but after a day of hiking tasted wonderful. The only thing not recommended is the grilled cheese - but hey it is a Mexican restaurant what can you expect :)
