I knew I would run in to at least one of these…read more... So I couldn't find this exactly on Yelp but the address is a little different. This is at the Port of Mahon. I went here when I got off my cruise boat. It's about a 5 min walk right when you are off the boat. Google has this as: Calle Andén de Poniente, 07701 Mahon, Balearic Islands, Spain. Also the hours are 11:30-1pm. Not sure how to get that fixed but I wanted to get that out of the way. That being said... This was easily my favorite burger place in Spain. You'll know you're at the right place when you see a bird on the side of the restaurant. Definitely felt a little hipster vibe from the decor here. It kinda reminded me of home. This definitely would be the kind of place I would go to in the Bay. Nothing super pricy but still really good food. Nice music and tasty drinks always help too! So when you go here you need to order the Paput Burger and the Pollo Pons. The burger had an assortment of flavors. I mean usually you got the saltiness of the hamburger patty with the freshness of the lettuce. But there was something about the Mahon cheese and the honey that really brought everything together. Its like they know I love buttery stuff. That's literally the kind flavor I was picking up when I bit in to that cheese. And to anyone that's worried that the burger will be too sweet, don't worry about it. They put the perfect amount on so that it doesn't clash with the other flavors. The Pollo Pons is a must too though. These are basically chicken tenders with a mango curry sauce which is to die for. I mean come on now man. CURRY. MANGO. SAUCE?! Like if you decide to order a different burger, you have to promise me you order these pons. They were so friggin good. We also ordered fries because potatoes. Am I right?

It looks like this is the place to be after hours in Mao…read more I believe Es Claustre is a combination of multiple entities - club, restaurant, concert hall, meet & greet spot, and the list goes on. The vibe of Es Claustre is super chill with slightly thumping house/electronic music playing, so you can have the option to chat, dance, and/or sit at one of the many tables. Since Menorca is kind of small, I got the sense that almost everyone at Es Claustre either knew each other or knew of each other (unless you were tourist). That said, most of the patrons were pretty friendly towards tourists. I might have had a difference experience because I was visiting with someone from Spain and other person who lives on the island. The staff was pretty friendly, and I thought drink prices were fine compared to other restaurants and bars in the area. My only minor complaint: it was extremely warm in the lounge area. Other than that minor issue, I would gladly return to Es Claustre. In fact, during our 3-night stay in Menorca, we visited Es Claustre every night so it definitely stayed on our to-do list.
