I literally travelled Italy for three weeks and nothing came close to the incredible cuisine here. Try the pizza, try the pasta, whatever you do, try something. They take reservations and even if you don't have one, you can try to get on a waiting list. It's well worth it. Another tip is to come for lunch. For dessert, order the cafe gourmand, which is coffee and a few miniature desserts curated by the chef. You can also sit at the chef's table and watch everyone cook! Fun fact, this restaurant is named after St. Roch (Rocco, in Italian), Montpellier's patron saint. He has a very interesting story, definitely look him up if you're in town.

We got a burrata salad, which was spectacularly delicious (fresh tomatoes, greens, a nice dressing all on top of an interesting flatbread). We were just a bit disappointed that the burrata was served cold and that there wasn't any avocado (unless we misread the menu???). The prosciutto and mushroom pizza we got was near perfect--so damn fresh and good. Our daughter had a chicken breast with some fries and was happy. Dessert was a scoop of strawberry for the little one and tiramisu for us. The latter was wonderful. Service was mostly great, but started to fall apart as the place got busy. We were very impressed for a restaurant on the main drag in a tourist town. The food was delicious, the service attentive and the restaurant neat and clean and inviting. We ordered a salad and a pizza to share and it was plenty of food for the two of us. The salad was topped with fresh baked dough stuffed with warm goat cheese and honey. It was incredible. We chose the chef's special pizza which had four different sections of toppings: one quarter was chicken and mushrooms, another meat lovers, another Hawaiian and the fourth more goat cheese and honey. We ate every bite. The chef even came out to walk the floor and find out how our dinner was. We would definitely go back.
