Because of that, there is a huge pest issue, and you can come back with bed bugs to home. Then i found Casa Tua Vaticano, a Bed and Breakfast place with 9 rooms. Hospitality is beyond expectations, very welcoming!!! I must say more welcoming than my mother. The place is extremely clean, your room is cleaned daily. You will have your breakfast every morning. As you arrive, the crew, especially Tommaso will explain everything how to go to the city, favorite places and such. It is very close to Vatican, 5-6 mins bus, another 5 mins to walk. The busses run right on the same street that the building is in. Even though, if you wanna go to city center, Colosseum, Trevi fountain are less than 25 mins. I will definitely come back to this place!!! Ps there is a restaurant called Buono Forchetta, is very close, delicious food, attentive service and reasonable prices withon minutes of walk.

The apartment complex is clean, modern, with working A/C as well as Wi-Fi. There is access to a communal kitchen which makes it convenient to store your food or even cook if you are so inclined. The cleaning staff does a great job cleaning the rooms and are incredibly kind and honest, they didn't touch any of our personal belongings that were laying around the room- even paper scraps/receipts. The rooms were quiet, though you may hear some guests coming in and out but overall a super quiet and comfortable area. The bathroom may not have all the usual toiletries but does provide liquid soap. The bed was probably the most comfortable bed I slept on during my 2 weeks traveling through Italy! Downstairs there is enough seating to lounge on sofas, an outdoor patio as well as vending machines for some quick hot coffee, snacks or water. The staff is super considerate and quick to provide service. One of the nights, we had arrived around midnight from Paris, France and was unable to enter the room (we didn't have a key and the receptionist had gone home for the night) but one of the staff came to the apartment in 5 minutes! Definitely, would recommend this place if you're looking for something comfortable and quiet to come back to after touring around Rome.

At first we were worried because we didn't know what to expect but saw very good reviews on Expedia. We were very pleasantly surprised! It's in a more rural area near the Vatican, but it is a very gorgeous oasis to the populated city of Rome. The staff here were very nice and super helpful! Upon arrival the receptionist(?) Jiada was amazing in supplying information and suggesting places to visit in Rome as well as giving us information about the metro and bus stations very close by. Without her, we would have been lost! As for the apartments, the complex is very beautiful and has a small fountain in the center of the structure with turtles inside (adorable!). The rooms are very nice and clean-with great necessities not offered by hotel rooms. The room we had included a fridge, stove, oven, TV, bathroom, shower, as well as the accessibility to laundry machines. To say the least, this was perfect for our stay in Rome. Recommend to everyone and, upon returning to Rome, will absolutely stay here again!

Our favorite place to stay in all of Italy…read more Fulvia is fabulous. She could not be more attentive or thoughtful. She makes sure you have everything you need and then some. She will gladly do whatever she can to make your stay as wonderful as possible. She is so down to earth, totally overflowing with sunshine, and will make anyone incredibly comfortable; she truly made Rome that much more of a lovely, fascinating and amazing place for us. To wit: she gave us detailed instructions on how to get there and anywhere we wanted, responded quickly to any questions, printed things for us, checked back throughout breakfast to be sure we had enough of everything, gave us short cuts and insider info (she used to be a tour guide after all), personally made sure to get us settled in and tell us goodbye, she even went so far as to pick flowers and put them in our room for us. Fulvia's rooms are fabulous; modern and efficient use of space with great colors and textures to keep things airy and light. She gave us the choice to move into a bigger room if we wanted (at the same price) but we stayed right where we were because we loved it that much. The rooms are CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN with lots of fresh towels and linens. The bed is by far the most comfortable one we slept on compared to everywhere else we stayed. The room is laid out nicely with your own little table and chairs right in front of a generously sized window looking out into Rome. Lots of light when you want it and darkness when you want that too (shutter included). The location is fabulous; very easy to get to from the train station. There's a small grocery store in the train station, a laundromat a street or two over from Casa Romana, a Tabacchi shop literally across the street, restaurants within the same block and it is walking distance to pretty much all of Rome ..... we even walked back from Vatican City - it did take awhile, but we did not die trying to do it. You may occasionally hear sirens, but they never kept us from sleeping or interrupted our good times. (You also may occasionally hear your neighbor's door shut, but again, our sleep nor good times were ever interrupted.) Casa Romana is set up fabulously - 3 rooms and that's it - 3 rooms on the second floor that make up the corner of a building. They are all centered around a small hallway that contains a breakfast nook (complete with kitchenware for everyone to use) where Fulvia places breakfast around 8am each morning. However, you can get up when you want and have your breakfast - no timeframes and no weirdness at a table with uptight strangers. Just roll out of bed, walk 5 steps, grab your food, walk 7 steps back and sit down at your own pretty private table and enjoy! It is exponentially obvious how much Fulvia takes immense pride in Casa Romana - do not miss out on the chance to experience it.

Via Tre Archi is just off Via dei Coronari, which is a cute little mediaval thoroughfare that has many little shops and several streets that run off it that have delicious trattorie on them. You can walk straight west almost to the Tiber and you can cross to the Vatican. You are less than a km to the Pantheon and Via del corso, which can take you to the fancy shops, trevi fountain, spanish steps, or south to Piazza Venezia, the VE monument, Campidoglio, forum, colosseum, etc. Basically, you're in walking distance from everything you should do in Rome. Everything except Villa Borghese, I guess. For the price, about €200, the rooms are very spacious and well-appointed. The bathroom was beautiful, adorned with travertine and equipped with an adjustable shower head that could go well above my 6'6" height. There was a functional glass sliding door to keep the water in the shower. Something we take for granted in the US, but not always the case in Europe. There was a separated room with a couch, mini fridge (with complimentary beverages), and a desk. The bedroom had one double bed, a large armoire, and a mounted flat screen with sky cable. Ours had some damage and was barely watchable, but their TV sucks, and we had better stuff to do anyway. The bed wasn't very comfortable, but it did the trick. We were situated on the 3rd floor that was remarkably quiet for being above Via dei Coronari that has scooters barreling down it at all hours. The windows are almost completely sound-proofed. The staff were very friendly and helpful, with lots of excellent restaurant recommendations. It also helps that there are dozens of little Roman restaurants within 500 meters. Even more of a reason to stay here. The wifi was the best we had in Europe. We actually just got the access code to the secured network and had excellent speed and a reliable connection on all devices. Breakfast was typically terrible, as it always is in Europe. Pastries and charcuterie is about all you can expect. I guess it's too much to ask for someone on standby making me eggs benedict every day when I wake up. We slept through breakfast almost everyday, so it made no difference to me either way. You may as well go straight to lunch with wine when in Roma. I wouldn't hesitate to come back, if I find myself back in Roma. It was totally worth the money, for the quality of room and most-importantly the location.

Very spacious and clean, Gianluca and Meredith are excellent hosts. Beds are very comfortable and although you are right in the middle of the city, surprisingly very quiet. Great selection of local restaurants every where, so food is not a problem. Metro station is close by as well. Rate includes breakfast and internet, fantastic value. We will be back to stay when we return to Rome.

We stayed at the Internazionale Domus both times and could not recommend it more strongly! Since our prior visit, the space has been upgraded significantly, and our group was spread across 6 very comfortable and well decorated rooms on the 3rd floor. The location is absolutely superb, the staff is both helpful and attentive, the economics were reasonable, and the elevator to the 3rd floor is distinctive and fun! Our next family visit to Rome will certainly involve the Internazionale Domus and our return will occur much more quickly the third time around!
