Mojito's is a very nice and a VERY relaxing bar with a stupidly extensive list of Mojito flavours. I myself am not a fan of said drink as I'm not overly keen on fresh mint,which is a shame because they always look really nice whenever Mrs Z buys one. Her weapon of choice here is the Classic Mojito,why mess with the classics eh? What about you Lee? I hear you cry,well,you are either crying that or I have tinitus! Don't you fret about me because on their list of alcoholic gorgeousness they have the King of the Living Dead cocktails, The Zombie!!! I need say no more on this,but I will. By night it is a nice relaxing beach bar where you can get some of the nicest cocktails served by some of the nicest people on the island. Seriously,they are really nice people!! Top of the list of cocktails for me is their Long Island Iced Tea,how can it not be nice? it includes rum,tequila,vodka gin and lime! I can taste it as I type... Ange's cocktail of choice was their Strawberry Mojito,what can I say? it is a strawberry flavoured mojito,'nuff said! The awesome staff also bring out nibbles for you to enjoy whilst you enjoy the gorgeous view of Lobos and soak in the atmos. If I am on holiday for 7 days and I visit a place at least 10 times whilst there, then you can pretty much guarantee that it is a 5 star place,Agua is definitely a 5 star place........

I think of sunbleached painted wooden tables adorned with zinc potted cacti and tealight lanterns. I think of sipping on a fresh and fruity smoothie with a crusty sandwich stuffed full of good things. I think of sitting under fairy lights watching the full moon rising and enjoying a fresh strawberry mojito as the balmy summer night drifts languidly on. I think of Agua and it makes me smile. If you want a place with a laid back beach bar vibe, super friendly staff, great food and drinks and a blissful view, then head to Agua and save me a seat!

And the place was so nice we went back again in 2012. The owner who may be called Rosie,or may not be,is a seriously friendy Woman,the type of person that makes you realise you made the right decision going there in the first place. If I was so inclined I could very easily drink there every night such was the wecome we recieved on both occasions. What I will say though is 2 words.....Sunday Lunch......it is to die for!! When we return to Fuerte,which we will do then Rosies is a place where i'll be (Again). Good stuff!!

A few years ago when myself and my good lady wife were on Holiday on Fuerte we used to drink in Tattooz n Booze,and we loved the place,but when we visited in 09 we found to our dismay that it had closed down only a few months before we arrived (The owner Sasha had relocated to Gran Canaria). A big hole was to be found on that trip,we missed our nightly dose of Metal,Bourbon and Jaeger.Sad times indeed. Just before we visited last year we found out that Sasha was back and that he had opened a new Bar not far from the old one Called Ace Of Spades in honour of the wartiest bass playing lead singer in the world. We were happy,very,very happy : ) On our first night we popped along after having a bite to eat,it is only a small place but with plenty of seating outside,who wants to sit inside anyway? it's 30 degrees outside!! We were served our Jim Beam and coke by the co-owner Raphael (Rafa) possibly the nicest French man I have ever met,he served us our drinks and explained that Sasha only worked in the Bar every now and again,not to worry. Rafa was very appologetic that his lap top wasn't working,and that he only had his CD's to choose from and was there anything I would like playing? I said "Have you got any Kreator?",he said yes,and before I had even sat down outside Hordes of Chaos was blasting out of the bar,Oh yes,this was going to be a good night! Back in the Tattooz days Sasha always used to write a Heavy Matal related question on a blackboard,and if you got it right you were given a shot of Jaegermeister. The tradition continues in Ace of Spades,and Rafa is such a nice bloke, that one night upon getting the question right he not only gave myself and my wife a shot,but also the friends we were drinking with got one too,top man!! We drank there every night of the holiday,a perfect end to what is always a perfect day on Fuerteventura. I can think of hundreds of reason to visit the Island,but top of the list is Rafa and his little Heavy Metal Bar......God,I miss it!!

We went for the signature Waikiki Burger, which looked good on paper. In reality the buns were toasted to a solid crisp and it didn't taste like much at all. There were a few fries on the side (really... like in not many) that already turned cold. Good thing we had ordered some starters. The grilled cheese was Ok, the local potatoes with Mojo dips were a mixed cause. The potatoes were good, the Mojos didn't taste that well. Pro: If you're looking for a nice Bar or Bistro at the beach, this place might still be your choice. If you're more into action, there's a surf school right next door.

Like the majority of places that I pop into in Fuerte,Citrus has some very friendly staff that alway have a smile for you (Let's face it,who wouldn't smile if they lived in paradise?)
