On the plus sides, staff was really welcoming, the place was patronized with quite a few locals which is typically a good sign, the entrees were all in the 16 to 22 euro range. In the end the place was just ok and the experience really depends on what dishes you order. The mushroom omelet was excellent. However, the so called local dishes like duck confit and cassoulet were terrible and subpar. So it appears if you want a good experience le grill can fit the bill but stay away from "local" dishes that are actually cooked for tourists and on the contrary order "not from here" dishes that the locals patronize the place for. Lesson learned but still a bit disappointing.
