This is without a doubt the best tapas I have ever had. Simple, freshly done, with good ingredients. Friendly service. A variety of 'set menus' if you're not sure what to order. Seating outside or in. We had a set menu with wine and water for 12.50 euros each great value. The dishes were a delicious slice of grilled cheese, local potatoes with dips, a tranche of seared tuna to die for, a superb piece of tender mouthwatering grilled beef, and tomato salad. At the end the waiter brought us each a glass of a sweet Catalonian wine, like Muscatel, on the house. It was perfection, and you will go a long way to find tapas this good. Great pub to stop in for a pint or two or three. Football on the televisions, great mix of people…read moreand the staff is awesome! So friendly and the service is above what I was expecting when we approached. We drank the local beer and chatted up with a nice couple from Sweden. Outside tables are perfect for some people watching and to take in the fresh air. It's nice because it's not the the busy Main Street that everyone is walking up and down.

Sehr gutes Restaurant mit freundlicher Bedienung. Wuschel 83 konnte vielleicht kein spanisch, denn wir haben alle unsere Extrawünsche sofort erfüllt bekommen. Während man an den großen Plätzen von Puerto Cruz nur als Euro Zahler wahrgenommen wird, ist das Restaurant La Lava ein Restaurant mit Seele und Herz. Wir hatten oft das Tapas Menü zu 16 Euro für 2 Personen bestellt. 5 liebevoll servierte Gänge für 8 Euro die Person, das ist einfach unglaublich. Das Essen war fast immer sehr schmackhaft, die Bedienung immer freundlich. Das sie manchmal etwas langsam sind, habe ich eher als wohltunend empfunden. read more
