Hysterical, the place to go in Nice for a good laugh and really funny and well executed comedies…read more All plays are in French, this is for locals but if you are fluent and need to relax, totally worth buying tickets and spending the whole evening laughing in your seat. Seats are about 15 to 21 euros depending on the play (discounts are usually available on the web). Seats are not assigned so you may want to come a bit early (30-45 min before play time) although there are not really bad seats in the house except for the far sides ones. Parking in the area is a hassle so try to walk or take public transportation. Pretty much a play every day with a variety of local actors or well known ones spending a few weeks in Nice for a specific play. So far I have seen 3 plays here and I plan to come back for more laughs.

This is an excellent theatre in Nice which brings a wide range of plays to town: from classical…read moreplays to on or off Avignon festival successes. They also have a kids series and some thematic weeks like Russian for example. Overall a great program and a nice intimate theatre where there are no bad seats in the house. Consistently delivers.
